It seems to be all I can get, yet I have a condor will all slots filled, two types of missiles, three types of ammo, plus some other little noob battle bells and whistles. Is there anyplace I can try them out? Please help? I don't know how many more courier missions I can stand.
Yes, I keep clicking Peoples & Places / My Agents but all my agents are lame and just give me lame missions.
Please ... help ... want ... to ... kill ... something ...
Thx,
Nax

What type of missions you get depends on 2 things.
The most important thing is what division the agent belongs to, make sure it belongs to Security, Internal Security or Command and you will get almost only kill missions.
The second is what ship you are in, exactly how this effect mission types is unknow but they dev have said it does. But I am fairly sure the fittings on the ship have no effect for that. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's a good thing . Run missions for:
Command: 97% Kill, 3% Courier Intelligence: 85% Kill, 15% Courier Internal Security: 95% Kill, 5% Courier Security: 90% Kill, 5% Courier, 5% Trade Surveillance: 95% Kill, 5% Courier
...and you'll have plenty of fun .

But where do I find those agents in those categories? I haven't even seen one! I've done the tutorial and have been bouncing around. So far I have five agents, and they are in the following categories:
Personnel, Advisory, Distribution (Kazaka Uoraa), R&D
Does somebody have a "noob guide to missions" out there? Seriously, I've been running around and all I get are lame missions. It's starting to turn me off to the game to be honest.

If you look at your standings in you character sheet, you can click on a corporations info and see all their agents in all their different categories, their locations, and whether they are available to you or not. ------------------------------ I refuse to use a sig until my picture is up

Open your map, and click on stars. Let it load and scroll down to where it says "my agents". This will let you run your mouse over each star and it will show you the agents in each system that will talk to you. If you're relatively new to it all, pick a higher security system, but look for security, command, or intelligence agents (or others mentioned above) to get lots of combat missions.

Check out another corporation's agents. The military has more kill agents.

I just clicked on a few dozen stars. There is no "my agents" entry in any of the menus ... even when I click on a system that one of my agents is from. The only menu that lists them are "People and Places" which just lists the same five agents. ;-( Also, I've been clicking on 1.0 and 0.9 security areas. Still nothing, just my same five crappy agents.
Help ...

I only see one corporation: the School of Applied Knowledge. There are a couple of other factions, but clicking on them reveals no other corporations. Are there other NPC corps? How do I get into a corp that will have something besides courier missions?
This seems like a bit of a show-stopper folks. No matter what I do, I can't get other agents who will give me something besides courier missions, which have reached their fun-limit potential.

Got it now. Thanks! I was clicking on the actual "star" and then looking for a menu item. To anyone else reading this thread having the same problem (I saw a few in Rookie Chat) you need to 1) Open Map 2) Click on Display Settings 3) Click on Stars 4) Scroll down to My Agents. This will change your map to highlight various stations/systems in GREEN. Then when you mouseover them they will list the agents in that system.
Finally ... I don't recall seeing this in the tutorial ... which would have been very helpful.
Thanks again,
Nax

One more thing:
When you are in a station, in the top right corner it shows you the corporation that owns it. In the top right corner of that you'll see a blue "i" icon. When you click on that, the corporation information window will pop up. There is also an "i" icon for corporations in your character's standing window, but only for corporations you have standing with, which means if you've never done a mission for them, they won't appear there (which doesn't help you at all).
There is an Agents tab in the corporation information window that lists every agent for that corporation, sorted by type. The information you see on the agent lists which system and station they are located. Do a search on your map for the system and see if it's a place you want to go.
The best corporations to try for kill missions are military corporations (Caldari Navy, etc).
