Also, scams are a part of EVE. Learn to identify them and stay away from them. CCP won't be doing anything about it because you went in on the contract either knowing the risks, or ignorant of them. To take your real life analogy further, Eve Online is not set in Europe or the United States, but in Somalia. If you got the muscle and the support you might get your isk back, if you are a small time lone ranger trying to keep his nose clean - you need to step on egg shells when dealing with any one.

I also know that you can only bid as much as you want to, and unless an auction is finalised, the auction owner won't get that money, and if you're outbid, you can end bidding and get your money back. I haven't rebid on anything it's the same contract as the only contract I've bidded on. Seems to me he keeps editing it because it was at 2 days then when to 4 then 3 etc has been happening for awhile now and the guy blocked me cause I asked him why he kept editing the contract.

The auction system seems to be a POS how it is now reason I say that well look at the abuse the person is doing to me right now? If I recall correctly I haven't read anything about this online about eve so technically he is Exploiting a bug. Which imo should be bannable as well as the person should be refunded.
