I've been reading with great interest all the posts about Deklein and although they've been very entertaining, I believe it's time to divulge the truth.
Bottom Line: BoB, D2, NFC, Sparta, IRON, FLA executed a brilliant plan to ensure that the Goonswarm would not find a home in the North
Here's how it played out: D2 was getting concerned with the Goons and them wanting to take a piece of an adjoining space. Bob did not want the Goons to thrive. Although NFC and Sparta pilots were supporting D2 in defending/attacking the swarm, D2 was concerned that the rest of the North was not acting fast enough to repel the swarm. So in partnership with BoB, D2 contacted the Sparta, NFC, IRON, FLA leadership and "suggested" an approach to permanently remove the Goons from the North.
The plan went as follows: IRON and FLA would start a benign war with NFC. The action would be limited to 3JN and a few other neighboring systems with few losses. Following the script, the 3 parties started flaming each other on the forums and managed to kill a few battleships here and there as well as some shuttles and noob ships. Sparta followed the script and acted like they would initially support the NFC but then recanted and declared themselves neutral.
A loyal ex-IRON (D2 sympathizer) approached the swarm with an offer to "help" in their invasion. In their eagerness to quickly gain control of a few systems, the Goonies jumped on the opportunity. Conveniently, a Cov Ops pilot was present to record the cyno event and D2 could then (still following the script) set NFC to -ve in hope to rile up the North. Unfortunately, the rest of the northern corps remained neutral and did not unite against NFC or the Goons.
So, a quick B plan was hatched by D2/BoB where the NFC would disband and join Sparta who would "offer" to NAP the Goons. The swarm (again foolishly) jumped on the opportunity to gain access to Deklein.
This action created such an uproar in the North that all corps fell in line and declared Sparta (and by extension the Goons) as foes. To make things "seem" fair, the FLA hired MC to come mop up. In addition, 2 long IRON and FLA friends: Elektrophobia and Burn Eden jumped in to "support" Sparta. To top it all, a roaming BoB gang ganked a few pilots here and there to make it look interesting. This further enraged the Northern corps and strengthened their resolve to fight the outsiders. A nice bonus: it also discouraged any alliance or corps from ever thinking of supporting the Goons
Result D2 and BoB get their goal: Goonswarm has no possible entry in the North
Bravo to NFC and Sparta for willingly letting their alliance die to help unite the North
Bravo to FLA and FLA for playing your part so well
Bravo to MC for showing up to fight a non-existant foe
Bravo to Alek and BE for working with BoB and D2 to put in place such an ingenious plan
Shame on the Goonswarm for falling for such a plan
You ask for proof?
How many ships were lost by NFC, FLA and IRON in the 1st week of the fighting? less than 10 BS and a few frigates (all insured!). No T2 ships were lost (as all EvE pilots know, insurance on T2 ships sucks!). All POS's were "transferredö to NFC
How many ships did Sparta lose in the 2nd week of fighting? 3 BS and 1 BC + a few frigates. Again, no T2 ships!
How was it that a Cov Ops was present to conveniently record the Cyno field? It was staged!
How did a 1000+ member alliance (Sparta) fold so quickly? It was scripted!
How did the FLA afford to pay MC the 10 Bil they asked for to come to Deklein? Can you spell BoB/D2?
Why did Alek and BE not play a major role in Pure Blind or Deklein? They were there to support the D2/BoB plan!
Why did BoB send a gank fleet to roam around Deklein yet dit not destroy even ONE ship?
Oh, and BTW yes, this is ALL fictional! I hope the local tabloids will pick up this news piece and I'll make a bundle on royalties |
