Trembler Red Alliance	Posted - 2006.07.22 12:16:00 - [1] Red Alliance Summer PVP Festival Summer: sunshine, beer, water, miniskirts, beer, and of course: Eve Online. To the general Eve public it is my pleasure to present some information on the RA vs the Coalition conflict. RA has been living under pressure for a long time. Stations and entire regions have been taken away from us by "the Coalition". Only one station remains under our control, which is the C-J6 station. What do the pilots of the "once mighty RA" do then you might ask? You've heard on the forums about our borderline tactics, many people consider us exploiters and cheaters. Those who have flown with us (and even some enemies) praise us for our PVP abilities. I would like to give you a quick rundown on what the Russian PVP alliance has been up to lately. Since the beginning of the summer (1st June 2006) Red Alliance has destroyed 5062 Coalition ships (not counting capsules): 917 Cruisers 874 Frigates 866 Battleships 558 Shuttles 389 Industrial Ships 384 Interceptors 265 Battlecruisers 183 Assault Frigates 153 Rookie Ships 78 Heavy Assaults 75 Covert Ops 54 Stealth Bombers 54 Recon Ships 49 Interdictors 44 Destroyers 37 Mining Barges 30 Transport Ships 16 Command Ships 8 Dreadnaughts 7 Faction Cruisers 6 Freighters 4 Exhumers 4 Faction Frigates 3 Support Cruisers 2 Carriers 2 Faction Battleships The following alliances are considered as "the Coaliton" in these stats: Chimaera Pact, E.R.A, Ghosts of Retribution, Knights Of the Southerncross, Lotka Volterra, Maelstrom Alliance, Miners With Attitude, The OSS, United Confederation of Corporations, and Veritas Immortalis. Of course all these kills are verifiable from our killboard http://killboard.red-alliance.info/. I personally find this amount of 100 destroyed ships per day quite impressive and I am proud to have been able to chip in myself. Of course we have suffered losses as well; although it is difficult to estimate the exact amount. Often the coalition boards have the same kills on each Alliance's board (instead of the killmail being posted only on the Alliance's board that issued the final blow). And, indeed, our killboard's losses arenÆt accurate (whose are?). I do challenge the forum warriors of the Coalition, however, to gather the exact stats on their part, whether they wish to do so (not an easy task, that, with that many KBs). TO SUM IT UP: after the loss of regions, we have enjoyed intense PVP action in "our" space. May this fun last forever, although quite sadly some believe that the Coalition is approaching the end of its existence (in its current form anyway). As a side note, since the beginning of the year Red Alliance has destroyed 3 carriers, 10 freighters , and 18 dreadnoughts of the Coalition. RA wishes all a good summer; if you want PVP, you know where the festival is.

I'm sure I can't give you statistics on our losses, as our KillBoard, as stated in the 1st post, is indeed, inaccurate on the losses. If you want statistics as per each Corp of your "Coalition", I suggest you go to http://killboard.red-alliance.info, take a pen and paper, and start surfing. 302 pages (9060 kills) to go through.

I give credit to who i choose sir and ive been in maybe 1 or 2 battles and skirmishes in my time to be able to give credit to both parties , knowing the awesome undertaking the coalition must have done to reduce RA to what they are now , And to RA for fighting back and not folding as many have done so before themin similar circ's Makes me laugh how u have even given my replies to this thread with my neutral stance giving both parties equal credit a 'Put Down'

The thread doesn't contain loss statistics, so not a huge amount can be drawn from it. But what I can tell is there is a massive amount of PvP going on in RA space - that's something I had no idea about. Thanks for posting RA.

His kill counts for the alliances, he mentioned, are probably correct. I have no clue about coalition kills, but I'd describe them as 'enough'. There is no common denominator in this war between RED and The coalition, how this war should be like. This has never been a war to maximize eachothers fun and give both sides a 50/50 chance to win. Both sides want to win this and use the tactics that work well for them. REDs goal is to claim more space again, Coalitions goal is to remove RED from the (south-)east to have that space under friendly control and not having to deal with RED pos strategy in this area again. This is the purpose of this war now, the times when people wanted just to have fun in this war a long over. I repeat: RED's goal is to stay and get strong again, for the coalition it's about bringing it to an end. Nothing more. edit: If both sides have fun from time to time, it's welcome, but it's not on the top of the priority list. On top are long term goals.

"Coalition" KB doesn`t count for pods and rookies. We could take this to another level and say get a pen and note from our killboard how many corps in RA have left since the begining of the war (and that`s more than ships). None said that Ra don`t figh for their numbers well, or teh killmails on u`re killboard are fake, but less cheastbeating would be nice.

I just have to leave the station and fly for a few minutes to one of the every present RA camps to get some kill-board points. I really dont know if the coalition doesnt benefit more from a alive and kicking RA. Sometime that last station will change hands anyway. It just nags at me that RA still has the ability to farm some valuable complexes in the vicinity.
