Red Alliance Summer PVP Festival
Summer: sunshine, beer, water, miniskirts, beer, and of course: Eve Online.
To the general Eve public it is my pleasure to present some information on the RA vs the Coalition conflict. RA has been living under pressure for a long time. Stations and entire regions have been taken away from us by "the Coalition". Only one station remains under our control, which is the C-J6 station.
What do the pilots of the "once mighty RA" do then you might ask? You've heard on the forums about our borderline tactics, many people consider us exploiters and cheaters. Those who have flown with us (and even some enemies) praise us for our PVP abilities.
I would like to give you a quick rundown on what the Russian PVP alliance has been up to lately.
Since the beginning of the summer (1st June 2006) Red Alliance has destroyed 5062 Coalition ships (not counting capsules):
917 Cruisers
874 Frigates
866 Battleships
558 Shuttles
389 Industrial Ships
384 Interceptors
265 Battlecruisers
183 Assault Frigates
153 Rookie Ships
78 Heavy Assaults
75 Covert Ops
54 Stealth Bombers
54 Recon Ships
49 Interdictors
44 Destroyers
37 Mining Barges
30 Transport Ships
16 Command Ships
8 Dreadnaughts
7 Faction Cruisers
6 Freighters
4 Exhumers
4 Faction Frigates
3 Support Cruisers
2 Carriers
2 Faction Battleships
The following alliances are considered as "the Coaliton" in these stats: Chimaera Pact, E.R.A, Ghosts of Retribution, Knights Of the Southerncross, Lotka Volterra, Maelstrom Alliance, Miners With Attitude, The OSS, United Confederation of Corporations, and Veritas Immortalis. Of course all these kills are verifiable from our killboard http://killboard.red-alliance.info/.
I personally find this amount of 100 destroyed ships per day quite impressive and I am proud to have been able to chip in myself.
Of course we have suffered losses as well; although it is difficult to estimate the exact amount. Often the coalition boards have the same kills on each Alliance's board (instead of the killmail being posted only on the Alliance's board that issued the final blow).
And, indeed, our killboard's losses arenĘt accurate (whose are?). I do challenge the forum warriors of the Coalition, however, to gather the exact stats on their part, whether they wish to do so (not an easy task, that, with that many KBs).
TO SUM IT UP: after the loss of regions, we have enjoyed intense PVP action in "our" space. May this fun last forever, although quite sadly some believe that the Coalition is approaching the end of its existence (in its current form anyway).
As a side note, since the beginning of the year Red Alliance has destroyed 3 carriers, 10 freighters , and 18 dreadnoughts of the Coalition.
RA wishes all a good summer; if you want PVP, you know where the festival is.

Goodjob, I've watched the RA killboard and I'm really impressed with the ammount of kills you guys get. After weeding out all your indy corps you guys have turned into a very good pvp alliance.
You should start posting loss mails though, you cant have one without the other

Based on the one fact i can see (im not even going to go into reasons polictical or otherwise about the war , as its got nothing to do with me directly)
RA are vastly outno' , surrounded by hostiles on all sides and they haven't folded.
what ever u say about RA or the Coalition forces to me is irrelevant the fact speaks volumes , RA is still there and fightinng , tactics are irrelevant imho.
im not cheering for anyside all im saying is N1 RA on surviving and fighting back and keeping together where many would have folded in similar circs.

As Kaar said, you've trimmed down, we've moved in residents who supply nice targets for you. GJ, but it means little if you can't hold onto c-j and increase your systems.
I could go on about how your stats are poor against what could be considered the "major pvp" corporations, but that would be unfair

Think you'll find some of those are NOT part of the coalition, I wont tell you who is as that would give info away, but your list is incorrect.

We enjoy your festival, just curious as to why you add alot of non coallition alliances to the list, to bolster numbers?
To compare apples to apples - during the same timeperiod -LV- has killed 5249 ships of RA and their friends/allies.
That's -LV- alone....

Lol, you could say the exact opposite about you. You have the population and you havent managed to kill them yet?

I however have huge respect for both sides, RA have fought like nothing ive ever seen before and seemed to have had great fun doing son.

Well thats really confused from a spectators pov,
if the war was with the old RA (and ive read and been told the reasons) and the old RA is now defunct and replaced by the New RA how can the original reasons for the War be still Valid
And whether or not the reasons are valid or not what has not giving credit where credit is due have anything to do with it ?
I give it where it is due and ive followed the forum smacking and propoganda from day 1 and kept out of it , so i choose to give credit to both sides for differant reasons.
