As EVEtv was so nice to announce this live, Euphoria Released has left D2 under friendly terms.
D2 is an awesome alliance with some excellent people in it and ER will remain good friends with them and will support them.
Our reasons to leave are our own.

On a serious note, we are leaving on good terms and will keep cooperating with them.
During the football world cup (lot's of alliance leads inactive at the time) it was E-R pilots who took the situation into their own hands in XZH, our FCs were given full authority over allied troops, lot's of fleet battles were won and no dreads were lost in an op that E-R was leading, although we never were the ones who would organise a POS war and fight in BS fleets. Oh, and we had the team in the tourney as well.
I won't say our buddies are happy to see us leaving, but none of them ever complained that we didn't do enough....infact they were always saying the opposite 
P.S. I hereby plead guilty in front of our directors for breaking the no-posting rule, but please show lenience for this transgression. I am currently working a boring nightshift and i've been waiting to reply to this comment ever since we joined D2

Well to be honest I'm not surprised. I had never seen E-R as an allience type corp, and I know the POS wars, that seem to be the bread and butter of 0.0 warfare these, are not something that the majority of E-R pilots like.
But I will say this. You did an awsome job while you were there, and contributed far more then I personally thought you would. So I wish you the best of luck, and may your move bring you many good fights.

Frankly I think all the former NBSI bad blood should be forgotten. No corporation in NBSI was perfect, and I'm sure with hindsight things could have been improved. However, every corporation in NBSI fought extremely hard for Tenal, and we punched well above what our number count would indicate. Perhaps better to remember the massive level of participation, and the battles we won, than the axes people still seem to grind.

Our past dealings in NBSI (with me being one of the "chief carebears" and you guys being the "let's shoot stuff" crowd) became strained in the end. I remember that Vent conversation with Cartiff where I basically said "if you want to claim space you gotta setup POSes, fuel them, blah blah blah". Two days later you left the alliance - and I felt bad - because we were not asking E-R to do that.

Now you have left D2 alliance. None of us expect you to provide a detailed "Post Mortum" as to exactly why - but some of us would like to have a basic understanding behind the decision.
Are you destined to be a solo killing corp and after a couple "tries" at joining alliances you are now comming to realize this? Is the desire to roam around the galaxy with no ties a larger driving force than the call to protect a homeland?

It's maybe a bit of the British sarcasm rubbing off the wrong way. I wouldn't say I knew him well, but I know him a fair bit and he's a nice guy. He loves shooting stuff, but he's also very tactically minded and can clearly see the 'big picture'.

Well alot of hard feelings between OCC and E-R was there when we left, however I have to agree you were right in somethings but wrong in other..
And yes you are right in some point our attention span is not to good even though it has got alot better..
However E-R will still be a roaming corp you will never see us staying in one part of EVE to long..
There is alot of reasons for that but the most important is we will like to give the locals a chance to "respawn"

I am arrogent, but I'm not overconfident, i know exactly what myself and my ladz are capable of and i sure as hell don't mind telling you.
E-R has grown from a 10man corp fighting empire wars, into merc work, then into alliances. All through this we've kept recruitement strict and the basis of the corp on fun.
Now we're over 150 strong, and with capabilites far beyond the "ganker corp" label we've had put on us.
Do i mind being called a ganker, hell no, is it all i can do... not on your life.
E-R has its own alliance now, no more people telling us what to do, we follow our own destiny now, and ain't we having fun.
