Originally by: Seleene We thought we could alpha strike the Deimos, so did most people but he was too tough. If we'd switched to the EOS a bit earlier, yeah, we probably would have won. The other issue was that I had to reload my torps right when the EOS hit about 20% armor.
Sounds like they need to boost the Raven then.

It was an awesome fight and props for MC going with what they had and not going to a huggin and deciding to fight. This allaince tourney is always a big boost for my eve gameplay and other then a bit of anger for the commentary i think it worked out fine. But we went with a setup that was a close range fight that what we wanted was a fight, no long range lets spam missles and see what happens. We wanted a in your face, either you ass or mine fight. We knew huggins and rapiers were about but hell no guts no glory. We wanted to make it to where we ditacted gameplay and forced people to either change up or lose and i think we accomplished that. Only losing 2 ships thru the whole tourney is a great thing in my book. And to all of you that thought the fight was boring and we didnt do anything, well we never changed we stuck with a good configuration and knew it was a hard setup to beat. In the end of all things though was a great fight and i had a ton of fun maybe next time we will move a step further and claim the big prize maybe they will go back to the 3 ship setup and get rid of using recons.........

I mean in the last tourney you claimed that you didnt have enough time to prepare which is fair enough. Well, this time you did and yet you lose to an industrial alliance? Dont you guys pvp for a living? Oh well..
Does the fact that MC has three outposts make us an industrial alliance as well?
Certainly not, but industrial alliance or not, you guys have a ton more general pvp experience then ASCN, especially in small group engagements (judging from your movies anyway). ______________

The average member of MC has a lot more pvp experience than the average member of ASCN, and I'm sure that if you picked 5 MC at random and put them up against 5 ASCN picked at random, MC would mop the floor with us 9 times out of 10. But MC wasn't facing 5 random ASCN pilots. They were facing 5 of our very best, and our very best are as good as anyone's. There are almost 4000 pilots in ASCN, whose playing styles span the full spectrum from ultimate carebear to full-time hardcore pvp.

Sounds exciting!
I've just returned from the wilderness where I spent the weekend away from PCs and anything resembling an internet connection. Look forward to seeing the recordings once I download them.
