I myself have gotten a total of 3 mails from people (2 from the same guy). I actually just recently recieved one having stopped piracy about a month ago. It was in a different language. I love piracy! Oh yeah, that incident with the pirate coalitions board, was revenge from some loser I podded at a gate aswell.

Then conversation goes on and on, tries the "im trying to give it to my friend" excuse. This guy has been playing almost as long as I have, but Im a few days older, and I end the convo with: "YOuve been playing almost as long as I have. You should know that you can DOCK and wait for HIM to dock then give him the crystal" His reply? XXXXX > jesus, go f* urself u stupid c*....convo XXXX if u dont believe me...thnx goodbye 20 minutes later, I return to station, there is another can, another Standard M. So I swoop on in with my Armageddon, Scramble, Web and give him a few lashings of the Megapulses. Take him down to struct, maybe 75% and I convo him," Stop firing. " he does and says the Ferox is something he just bought and cant afford to lose it. Me, being nice, didnt ransom, but I consulted my corp on what to do. let him go? Or Kill him Guess you all know where this is going, with a resounding pop his ferox went boom, rewarding me with some T2 goodies, and instantly my Pvt Convo was filled wiht "You *hole, that was my new ship!" "Those are my modules fker" etc, etc. AND another time, one little man, named Noobman, evemailed me threatening to get CCP on me for 'stalking' him, when all I was doing was blowing him up when he was flagged to me and disrupt his exploit uses at the ice belt. I'm going to venture down the route of pop psychology and suggest that the first hatemail was probably written by a dude, and the next three were written by girls. Bear in mind that a in-game char's sex has no bearing on the RL person sitting behind the monitor. Just pointless conjecture basically. /me dusts off antiquated hate-mail box. Damn I deleted the precious few I had. Well, they mostly run along the lines of "You might have beaten me in the game but in RL I am better", and they decide to leave it at that.

He was in an inty and couldn't quite get the kill on the ish although he'd already dispatched two frigates. He gives me a shout but I'm 10 jumps away in my mega (outfitted for PvP). He evades this guy until I can get to the other side of the gate then engages. I jump in, jam, scram, nos and dead...he gets the pod kill. We then get a stream of abuse about ganking and being told that we have no honour in local. Now go with me on this. We're a corp of around 20 players and we've just decced ASCN (roughly 3000fsh players). It's a fair bet that if you chase one of us around in your local and we can't hit you we've probably got help on the way. We head for a gate....wait there and then you jump in on us?!? Bearing in mind that we've almost certainly got something unpleasant on the other side of the gate...doesn't this really rate as death by misadventure?
