CCP Falcon 8412	Posted - 2014.08.24 12:11:00 - [1] - Quote Hey guys, It's about that time of the year again for DragonCon, and as such, we'll be hosting a player gathering at Mac McGee's in Decatur again this year on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 Our staff at CCP North America should be arriving for around 2pm for drinks and fun times, so head on over for an evening of drinking and good company You can find everything you need to know about Mac McGee's here, and the location here, right next to Decatur Station. You can get to MacMcGees without worrying about parking/driving from anywhere in the greater ATL area within 30 minutes. There are abundant Marta stations all throughout downtown. This is a much better solution that finding a place that will require driving/parking. Keep in mind that DragonCon is going to have the downtown area packed full (no parking). Additionally there is the Falcons home game that same weekend. Good luck finding ANY place to hold an event downtown that weekend. Considering the above, MacMcGees has been and remains a great solution.

Considering the above, MacMcGees has been and remains a great solution. Pay for the parking like everyone else and support your own economy. The only reason this gathering is even occurring is because of the convention, so you might as well actually have it at the convention. No need for reservations or anything fancy, everyone just crash a bar and sit on it as if it were the Tama gate. There's your great solution. MacMcgee's is a great solution for those it is convenient for, no one else.

The Vortex is 1 or 2 Marta stops down and an awesome location or even some place closer? Decatur is not exactly spitting distance to Peachtree Center.
