Would be nice if a player gets a "newbie" tag when the char has below 1m skillpoints so its recognizable by players / moderators.
We have that covered.

Those rules havent changed, you should be fine so long as they at least have your corp name or alliance and the press release text, and fit the size restrictions.
Mail us if you are unsure, and we can check them out for you.

Most alts are created to deliberately cause mischief on the forums, and these are easily checked.
If you post with an alt which is actually a member of an established corporation, this is the same as posting with any character, as there is consequence to your post.
If you simply post with an alt to escape consequence then it will be nerfed.

Characters trolling and spamming from npc corps will be treated as alts.

Point is, alts are usually in newbie corps, so there are few consequences to trash talking. By enforcing player corp postings as much as possible, you can and will be war dec'd for trash talk ... and it will be entirely your own fault.
Yeah you could create a one man corp and sit in a station just so bypass that rule, but us in CRC are not stupid, if someone does that, we'll soon adapt

Correct.
However players in NPC corps, are free to post in any of the other forums.
This forum is for player Corporations, Alliances and Organisations.

Just, for clarity.
Please allow us to clarify further.
We understand that people in NPC corps could be main characters. If they wish to roleplay a lone gunman against an alliance, they can use the Corp Summit and stay IC. Or if they wish to be OOC, they can use Crime and Punishment.
We mods are rather adept at spotting alt trolls. We are also adept at spotting main character trolls. We have dealt with each equally. What this new announcement serves notice of is that by popular demand of the regular posters in this forum, a stand is taken against individuals who use alts to troll. But be further advised, if a regular poster decides to respond to a troll alt in here they too will have to answer for their post the same way if it violates the rules.
Our intent is to clean this corner of the forums up the best we can. It is well known that alt trolls cause significant problems. The fact remains that alt trolls would be less of a problem if some of the regular poster's didn't rise to the bait. Therefore, it will take the community to assist us in not responding to an alt or flaming an alt if they slip through. Please simply ignore them.
Don't feed the trolls. ___

Locking this now.
Please do not create another thread about this. Doing so would be discussing moderation and we dont want that now do we.
