I have nothing to deposit, and I perceive your answer as a slap in the face.
When someone offers to go above your desired price, the immediate response should not be mistrust.
This unprofessional approach has angered me, and I believe that this is one character I shall not purchase.

This is exactly the most professional response you will get for any reservation requests.
This is market place, deposits and CCP rules are the insurance for sellers,not the words.
If this offends you badly,you better reconsider your methods for trying to buy a toon m8.

First of all, you have no reservation fee registered in your original post.
Second, CCP rules are the insurance for sellers and buyers, as in, they handle the transfers.
The deposit is the buyers own risk, you risk nothing by holding on to the character for a while longer.
And thirdly, I think I expressed my desire to buy this character more than enough by topping your B/O price.

im with salius on this one.... asking to hold a char without a reserve is rediculous. take your butt hurt somewhere else or get the isk and pay the man before it sells to someone who has the isk on hand now.
i'd but it right now but im contemplating going indy instead. it really is an amazing char tho salius |

1. This is a fire sale
2. Reserving a toon means to remove it fron sale until the date confirmed and doing that without deposit is simply dumbest thing.
3. Ccp protects against scams not against the promises mostly not kept by people asking for reservation.
4. Deposit makes your promise to be held under guarantee for both sides.
5. If you have no isk do not bargain.your offering more isk does not mean i will hold the toon and remove from sale and hope for the best.no such a trade on planet except the ones among the scammers and morons.

22. Down-payment plans are not supported by CCP Customer Support. As a seller, you are agreeing to a certain amount of ISK only, which is to be paid in one payment. Once again, any forms of scams regarding character sales is prohibited.
The reservation fee is paid in one go, hence the offer for a 27 Bill B/O, anything else counts towards a scam. |

There is no clear insurance that the buyer will not retract the offer, but people do include reservation prices in their ads.
I guess it is just uncommon for people to troll sellers? Why would I waste my time looking for a good character, and offer a larger amount of isk (because apparently I find it really good), just to retract it as soon as I get the funds.
I guess on your part it's a gamble. But you can rest assured that I would come through on the agreed price.
