I have nothing to deposit, and I perceive your answer as a slap in the face.
When someone offers to go above your desired price, the immediate response should not be mistrust.

This is market place, deposits and CCP rules are the insurance for sellers,not the words.
If this offends you badly,you better reconsider your methods for trying to buy a toon m8.
Still,if you are ok with a deposit,I will reserve the toon for the actual buyout price and notice on my topic.

im with salius on this one.... asking to hold a char without a reserve is rediculous. take your butt hurt somewhere else or get the isk and pay the man before it sells to someone who has the isk on hand now.

First of all, you have no reservation fee registered in your original post.
Second, CCP rules are the insurance for sellers and buyers, as in, they handle the transfers.
The deposit is the buyers own risk, you risk nothing by holding on to the character for a while longer.
And thirdly, I think I expressed my desire to buy this character more than enough by topping your B/O price.

22. Down-payment plans are not supported by CCP Customer Support. As a seller, you are agreeing to a certain amount of ISK only, which is to be paid in one payment. Once again, any forms of scams regarding character sales is prohibited.

The reservation fee is paid in one go, hence the offer for a 27 Bill B/O, anything else counts towards a scam.

So how will a seller know if you will retract your offer or not when the day comes?..
Plus,the toon should be removed from sale and be named as reserved and any other offers will be refused while waiting,what will be the insurance for buyer's side?..
