TBH the Abba's viability will come down to 2 stats that are not released yet.
 1) Drone bay size in comparison to the Geddon
If it isn't comparable in size no one will fly the Abba over the Geddon. That extra turret is only like 14% more dps with 50% more cap use, and ogre II's have a really nice damage output combined with geddon firepower. If the Ogre's bring the dps any closer than 14%, and you can tank with the geddon better due to cap, why would you fly the Abba?
2) If the capacitor size isn't any bigger than the apoc w/BS lvl 5, even 2 cap injectors won't make it even semi sustainable in the short term even for guns. Nos will make it even more vulnerable. This thing better have almost capital ship sized capacitor.
My main problem is that it's not any *different* than our other 2 ships. Why we can't get a drone boat or a 8 missile bay ships I will never know. The other ships all provide something different/what was missing to thier respective races. Hyperion = blaster, Rokh = turret sniper, Maelstrom = 8 gun shield tanker.
Abba = Apoc and Geddon rolled into 1. Nothing new or different, with possible severe cap issues forcing docking for 'ammo' worse than any other ship ever created.

128% more cap use actually.
50% less cap for the arma means the aba needs 100% more cap. Add on top of this that even without using twice the cap the aba does not only 14% more damage, but also fires 14% more guns and you get to that value.

Hey guy I am Amarrian (though I can fly the domi) and I must say lets not complain too much until it comes out. I personally think that the ship has great potential. I personally am not a laser user so my abbadon will be fitted with tech 2 1400's. But I meen look at that possiblity 8 1400's and sweet arse tank... With the passive resistance bonus and armour comp skills (lvl 4 each) and 2 eanm II's this thing will be a nut. (although I am somehwhat failing to see a difference between the abbadon and apoc in this same situation) But hey the extra low slot will rock. I can fit 3 gyro stabilizers II's and a tracking comp with a decent tank...
I must also throw in ere that I was really hoping for a big arbi... I really like that ship and with lvl 5 drone interface it makes sence to use it over all the other ships.
But hey look at it this way its a a new fun skin on an older ship so I will have fun anyways

My question is why is this always brought up but looking at my in game info screen a 425mm AC II is .106 a Heavy Neutron II is .100 and the Heavy Pulse II is .065. Um, you can modify those numbers, but at a base, lasers are teh suk. Can any say why people always say that lazers are the best trackers?
