It may be that BoB doesn't care about that, or maybe they think everyone is scared enough of them that it doesn't matter, or that they've built up enough respect over time that they can brush these negatives off without long-term consequences. Tetsujin's sig on our private forums contained a metajoke about the whole Smoske controversy. It depicted a bunch of emoticons jumping aboard a truck labeled "bandwagon" which was all set to run over poor Smoske. Tetsujin happened to post that sig in our public information forum without thinking about it. A BoB member dug it up from three or four months ago and then posted it here. The whole thing is a farcical beat up designed to conceal BoB's true motives for getting involved in our current war, whatever they may be. They could have declared war on us at any time since the creation of goonfleet, since the tasteless jokes about Smoske predated the creation of goonfleet by a wide margin. Aye well just looking at my own alliance kb it's 2000 ships incl. pods for an estimated 17bill we've gone through in a month. We're not even around for a 1/3 of your losses I would estimate. So the dreads you've killed are a **** in the ocean compared to what you've lost tbh. Good thing you got your logistics sorted to cope with this kinda stuff. :)

Look, this fight simply has nothing to do with morals. Here's the thing with Tetsujin, as I see it. His sig on our private forum was rather tasteless. He apologized, we punished him, et cetera. Seeing as how the issue was completely unrelated to the rest of us, we were satisfied by that resolution. Hopefully that will satiate BoB's bloodlust and we will be allowed to return to the carebear lifestyle in XZH. See, we're doing this because we want to do the right thing.

Still the carnage which is now going to follow should be a laugh.

The reason why is because we are depicted over an over, and in every single thread about us ever, as evil monsters for something that occured before we even knew what eve was. We want the stupid incident to rest in the past more than anyone here. Yet people continue to act like all 2800 of us made fun of smoske when we didn't. Being accused for something you had no part in really starts to get to you after the 20th time it happens. In reality, bob/d2/etc did start all this. They are the ones who refused to let the issue rest long after apologies were issued and we were more than ready to forget about it. They kept linking the thread and referencing the incident for a full year and half to the point where we want to strangle the people who do it. The behavior of tetsujin is explained in the context of this. In very poor taste he made a sig pointing out that bob/d2 love to repeatedly bring up the smoske incident to attack us. Ironically Molle is using that very sig, and the smoske incident, to rally people against us, yet again. Most of us are sickened to see that people are eating it up hook line and sinker.
