ok i want to do a few safer missions on level 2 so i would like to know wich agents are less likely to give you fight missions:
distribution
public relations
storage
im asking this because while running on a Marketing agent on level 2 he gave me a pretty tough fight mission wich i still have pending.
so untill i get the new ship i just wanna warp around and earn money
also, what are the R&D agents???

Marketing seems to be about 50/50, but I have never gotten a combat mission from a manufacturing agent. Remember, you can decline a mission every 4 hours per agent, so if you haven't accepted yet, that could be an option for you.

I was getting like 60-70% fighting missions with a distribution corp and agent. I'd try the public relations. Also for the bigger missions, don't be afraid to ask for help. If I get a really tough mission or just want to end it fast, I ask local for help. I split the reward with them 50/50 and they are free to loot cans. Met some cool peeps doing that.

Manufacturing is 100% non-combat. Unfortunately the rewards are pretty poor until you get to lvl 4 and even then it's mostly about the LP. My lvl 4 agent earns me about 4mil an hour including bonus and the LP is probably worth a bit.
OTOH my agent is a long way from low-sec so it's very low risk :)

As stated here already, ask help on local. A lvl2 mission will be easy and fast to do so you should find help easily. Your biggest problem will be if it's a mission against other major factions like Technological secrets. Then you will find yourself in trouble, as it weakens the standings on the faction in question and most people will not do it.

Research & Development -agents. Search the forums and you'll find info on these.

As for R&D agents they are for research, and pretty separated from normal agents. If you want the basics for research check the official tutorial (http://www.eve-online.com/guide/en/)
