All, TL:DR Throw your support behind Corbexx I don't really post on forums in general but ave been moved to by the recent changes implemented in Hyperion which almost seem to be universally hated (with a minority of exceptions). Even to the point of some people who pre-patch supported the changes have now gone back and said "actually this sucks" reading the blogs and forums 95% ish think a lot of these changes are detrimental to wh space. Personally I think our CSM has had a pile of crap land in his lap and he has made a lot of his thoughts known in this blog http://corbexx.blogspot.co.uk/ While I am not making suggestions of what should and what should not be implemented in wh space I do think people should get behind our CSM as our representative to talk to CCP (dickheads)and get some sense into them about wh dwellers. We have one voice to represent us and though I have never met or spoken personally to him I think he has a good knowledge of wh and a sensible head on his shoulders so I trust him to do right to what is right for our community... So asking all wh dwellers who think that maybe we can change things for the better to say to Corbexx we support you and fight the good fight for us. Do what you can to maintain whs as the place we love, for the little guys as well as the big c5/c6 corps Regards, Aurora |

Your one of the very few I've seen express anything positive towards the changes. From "straw poll" type numbers about 50-60% of the people I've talked to either don't care either way and about 40% think they are very very bad. Given the impact I've seen even during my brief time online lately on smaller entities (people just logging off when they open to us and don't have the numbers to do anything, friends in smaller corps moving out to k-space, etc.) I struggle to understand why these changes haven't been addressed as a matter of more urgency.
EDIT: It is certainly a mixed bag, some people have seen action they wouldn't have without the changes, etc. and largely they don't really impact anything I or my alliance does other than making things a bit more tedious - which when I'm already pressed with IRL stuff regarding work tends to put me off doing stuff in game after a heavy shift. |

I can answer that. No that is his main. And yes we moved into a c4 as Hyperion hit. The reason we are so cheerful is that we actually do enjoy ourself and find fights in our chain since Hyperion. In contrast to our life in a 5-5 before Hyperion where we lacked the numbers to take on the few groups we did find. (Or even in 6-6 with syj)
I will admit its not very promising if a lot of groups move out and maybe we have been very lucky with our chains. Time will show. But so far, since Hyperion, we enjoy ourself ~Bringer of happiness

We are a small alliance consisting of people that have lived in w-space since forever. When we looked at the changes on sisi we realised what was coming and packed up our **** from our C5, took the effort to figure out where we wanted to live next and worked to make it happen.
We made the hyperion changes work for us. That doesn't mean we think they are good for w-space as a whole, but we are not suffering.

Ya Huei wrote:Low class wormholes need an ISK/hr rebalance. IF this doesn't happen C4-C1 space will slowly lose all the people that try to make a living there.
Which in turn will leave people like me without anyone to shoot, and we don't want that to happen now do we?
I'm confused you post the above in one thread, and not suffering in this one.
I have been active pretty much every day since patch, and i have to say i have seen almost nothing in terms of targets or small groups to engage in w-space. I love the uboat pvp in wspace, but this patch is basically destroying low class dwellers. CCP often refer to farms and fields in null sec, well they basically burnt the barn down and poured nuclear waste on the field...
Please read Corbexx's blog and think about the implications of what he says long term. As you have been in high class C5, then you will know about C6 history over bear evictions... now imagine this but from C1-C4. |

The second quote has been true ever since melted nanoribbons tanked in price. It is not an effect of the Hyperion changes.
Making ISK has never been a focus for me or most people in my corporation. I do realise that it is a driving factor for other people in wormhole space, and since I would rather have a more populated and active environment.
It also annoys me that nullbearing under the cover of local and most activities in highsec will net you greater isk/hr than the people in w-space that are actually risking their ships.
People running c2 and c3 sites do it because they want to make their money where they live, and take the extra risk for granted. I think that deserves reward.

I pity Corbexx and the stupid amount of work he must be putting into this game since Hyperion. Help him out and stop with the whinny stupid threads, he has been very vocal about what he is doing about the changes and how much he is pushing to fix them even if i do disagree with him on them. |

This This is not something you should base your opinion of the patch on in my opinion. Just because you have things to shoot this week doesn't mean you have them next week. Its the same reason in rl we have restriction on fishing, if you allow for over fishing you are liable to disrupt the whole ecosystem ending in the death of the predators not just what you removed.
If what is being suggested by many to be happening wormholes will slowly die from the bottom up. First with the death of small corps where most of the larger ones get there member base along with those ganks most of us pass the time with between larger fights. If its true site spawning has decreased do to no longer being run we will effectively kill our selves off and wormhole space will be vastly different place a year or so from now. |

People often have this opinion that bears and smaller corps have no place. Especially in higher class wormholes.
The whales will die out too if the plankton they feed on goes extinct. Anyone has a place in w-space, and anyone out doing this is content/potential interactions. I do no really care what peoples activities are in w-space are as long as they are interested.
We need more people here and active and doing things not less. Which I think is what we are afraid these changes might result it.

This is pretty much it. I'm not a huge fan of c5 and c6 farmers , but at the end of the day if there in space farming it means there's a chance to kill them .
The bigger issue is the smaller corps who live in c1 to c4 if these start to leave its a much bigger issue than just ooh some small groups left. These are groups that come in try out wh's and hopefully grow maybe move to bigger wormholes, or who have people come in try out wormholes then like it move on to bigger groups.
At the end of the day if people are leaving faster than coming in its a issue. Corbexx for CSM 9 - Wormholes deserve better |

This is also my main concern I don't want wh space to become another null. Wh space works to me because it allows smaller corps to function - if they function as farmers or pvpers or a bit of both it doesn't matter every one brings something to the party either as a potential gank, ganker or some one who will have a brawl. Lower end wh corps are the feeding/spawning grounds as stated. If you remove the ability for smaller corps to make money (boo hiss farmers lol) you reduce the chances for them to sustain ships to fight with. Whilst I am entirely against people who farm relentlessly I would tend to think CCP should look at ways of making the C5/C6 farming a little riskier rather than changing whs with sweeping changes - not sure if it is possible but would like to know where the huge amounts of isk that CCP stated wh corps generate by wh dwellers actually come from. Betting its not from the lower classes.. I am glad some people are finding the changes are working for them for those that have found more content then good for you :) Possibly we are a less active corp finding the relentless scanning and running into bigger groups a bit grindy but with whs it is really what comes on different days gives different challenges possibly we are just having a bad run. For the time being we are running into big groups Noho the other night lol and massive chains with a limited amount of time and people this becomes a little dull. We are going to stick things out and see how we go but I am hoping the dwindling of activity I am seeing can be reversed. Also any of you larger guys that roll into us we probably wont respond to bait rolls ect but we are always up for a fight so long as we don't get blobbed by your 20 T3/guardian fleet. o7 Aurora
