*shrugs* I could be wrong too, but think about it. You have CFC with 15k or something players, if a lot of them are pvpers. not finding lots of fights, they might put there pvp alts in moth ball and play something else, that doens;t mean they are unsubbed, just not in use.

Almost all have unsubbed at least one account if they run more than a single one, more than a few have quit the game entirely.

Personally I have unsubbed 5/6 accounts, latest to go was my offgrid booster. My 'main' is currently not resubbed and now I'm just waiting out the next month or so.

I said it once and I'll say it again:

I'll keep undocking until CCP shuts down the server. I don't care how many jumps I have to make to find the only remaining dude who doesn't care about subs, ISK/hour etc and I'll shoot him. I cant promise I'll blow him up tho. Cos he's apparently a very determined individual...

I've quit a couple times, but I by entirely I mean given away their assets and/or biomassed. I'd say that EVE is generally harder to quit than most games, but biomassing/abandoning years of assets certainly helps to quit 'entirely'.

I'm quitting the game because I'm simply tired of it. I've accomplished/done everything I find interesting and it's left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't even get started on getting into a Titan, even those have become so common it'd be UNCOMMON to not see at least 3 die a month.

EVE is a sandbox, but I've thoroughly exhausted my imagination in it and the lack of new toys to play with in my sandbox make it the same one I've been playing in for 10 years. I have other issues with the game but they belong in a development forum, stagnation has lost me a lot of friends.

I certainly don't condone those who are still interested in the game, and I'd go so far as to say I'm jealous of you, but I haven't logged in and been excited to do something or other in a very long time. Mostly I log in to talk to people.

Even when things are slow there's enough to catch up on and a squillion things to try. Honestly, I think when people get bored they are just being a tad lazy (I am) because no-one else is providing them content. That's a mentality issue, and it's really unfair on the people who do put in the effort ingame for others. Sov is broken, yup. You can still skirmish for lols, just make up a reason. Don't burn people out of game through exhaustion just to spoonfeed content, play for yourselves fgs.

It's really hard to keep people cheerful when things are slow ingame, and the forums seem to emphasise it (but often unhelpfuly). The Devs who remain (who are not management, don't lose sight of that) are putting the effort in, and it's not unreasonable to acknowledge that once in a while.

ISDs love EvE too I'm betting. I'd change that OP to something more along the lines of "EZWAL, DRINK THIS - WHAT'S THAT THING, UHR, OVER THERE, IS THAT BARSTOOL WITH HIS PANTS ON HEAD?"

The game is boring. The map is stagnant. The largest alliances are completely immune to any form of disruption. In this I guess art has successfully imitated life. Well I play games to get away from reality not to be reminded of it. Also too many kiddies peeing in the pool. Acting like a total and complete phallus is the only way to play. It's funny the first couple times and after that it gets tedious. I'm also not particularly attracted to being a jerk all the time myself, so I have no motive to continue.

But in all seriousness, it sounds like you just need a new group of people. There are lots of non jerks out there, hells I tend to not let them in my corp. shrugs.
