Best change ever: Nerfing the log-off tactic, although I have still seen people get away with it somehow.
Worst change ever: The Gallente Election.
Dev 1: "Ooh, I know, we will whip up a load of hype, make it sound all life-changing, convince thousands of people to spend hours upon hours performing mundane repetitive tasks, then stay silent for half a year and once everyone has given up all hope, rush out a lame announcement about some candidate pulling out and the other guy winning by default."
Dev 2: "I like it."
Dev 3: "This is going to be big."

Well its not free, buying and using GTCs with isk, its letting the other person pay for you.
