Indeed not the maturity one would expect from a Veto member. ---

Actually youre just jumping on the EST bandwaggon please draw a number and queue up
I remember times when veto had mature players who could accept that roleplay exist, even if theire not interested into roleplay itself. (in fact the YARR stuff, is kinda RP too)

Edited by: Pylse on 05/09/2006 21:27:17 I believe we use the plural forms of ownership about the Nyx. It took far too much effort from the whole corp to be dedicated to one person, but yes, he risks his Nyx by taking it into combat because that's what we wanted to use it for and it sure is a lot of fun.
You can see from the way people react that they didn't expect 1 292 500 000 kg of "rather grumpy atm" to land on their forehead when engaging a hauler, and some of the comments in local afterwards have been rather interesting. "Err. Run!" Is my standing favourite.
That being said the locals do seem to see the bright sides of having a mothership outside their station. It is now a sport to "ride those fighters" for as long as possible without dying (Spiderweb holds the record in his shield tanking Scorpion and utterly incredible 48 seconds, allthough there are rumours going around that the fighters were a long way off and maybe this should be disqualified)
Being "Nynxed" is today the to-do for adrenaline rush and getting off, much cheaper allthough not really safer then those neural boosters you get at the more skank looking pleasure hubs. I've heard it is addicting. Ris Dnalor can tell you more.
Besides she makes muffins. Really good muffins. It's just like the Ice-Cream van, all the kids want to go but the foolish and boring parents (evil and MEAN zoolkhan!) fear the driver is some rabiat psycotic with a moustache that means to capture and feed them to "his pretties". Naturally a load of rubbish. Didn't your parents ever teach you to listen to those sexy sirens young U'K-uns? Or was it the other way around? Anyways, the Nyx reflection in the duct-tape sure makes that fugly Minmatar Outpost look nice for a change =P

I particularly liked one comment in local in otsasai I heard once:
Person 1: There's a mothership here, we need to kill it. Person 2: With what?

Raw doesn't know how to talk. He says "nyNx" instead of "Nyx", thus "nynxed". I just need to take the **** out of him further after the incident =P

I hope that we have brought something to U'K, because they do seem to be more dedicated in combat now then 1-2 month ago, so I hope they are learning from this experience as we are. I learned, kamikaze jumping into a fleet and attacking it in a megathron is stupid... atleast 1 out of the 10 man in the fleet will have ecm...
Respect to U'K for the almost smack free war Abandon all hope But take care of teh cake!11 - Immy |

Sounds like it would be a good fight, except I dont think U'K have even the tiniest percentage of the organisation needed to take down a Mothership.
If they do, though, the war will end, since it seems it's the only reason the Establishment are going to manage to do anything meaningful.

Edited by: Eddie Gordo on 06/09/2006 12:10:46 We have actually come painfully close to killing it (2 waves of 17 drones killed and into armour I think it was) and have killed the other known establishment capital ship (carrier)
On a long enough timescale the survival rate of anything falls to zero.

Tank wise, you have never come so close to killing the Mothership to my knowledge. Ushra'Khan's best attempt, did indeed result in the loss of almost half of our Fighters and the Nyx being forced to withdraw. Getting it into armour means nothing considering its an armour tanker. I believe we returned the favour though some days later killing many of the Fighters from 2 of your Carriers
Its been a bloody war so far, and an enjoyable one. The Carrier loss was surprising, I hear the Nyx and Chimera got seperated by a server crash which was why the Chimera got ganked. Compared to the Nyx, that Chimera can barely kill anything on its own. The Nyx did its best to save it, to no avail

I counted from the time I started getting mass damage on my shields, the torp raven (yes there was t1 torp raven shooting juggers as well) was just testing my paint job tbh. So it was definetely 48secs because I clicked the cap booster the time I started getting bashed, and I emptied it when I needed to dock (4x 12 sexs).
Best mini-game Eve has to offer, thx EST :D
P.S. I last 5-6 secs on my PVP raven >.< -----------------------------------------------
