I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but is there a way to queue skills so that you don't have to be present to switch to learning another skill when the current skill you're learning is done? If not, is there a good reason that CCP hasn't yet added this option?

I would love to see that, or to see them add the ability to change skills to the My Character pages. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. |

Yeah it kills me not being able to chain several 2-3hr skills while I'm at work or sleeping.

a common complaint - i always make sure i'm learning something overnight that won't end before i wake up, even if it means training a skill out of order, or changing a skill that only has (say) 40 minutes left to go so that i don't waste any time, and I'm lucky in that even though i don't have time to play it, i can log into EVE from work and set new skills off.
if you're not already, try using Eve-Mon so that you can not only plan out your skills WAY in advance (if you so choose), but it also gives a list in which the skills will be trained, how long they'll take, what time they'll start & finish, etc, so you can always have skills 'queued' that you can just log in and change as needed.
not the perfect answer, but until Eve-lite (which i read in a blog will run on Pocket PC's, not Palm OS) becomes available, good planning is your best friend.
