1. Do you name your Ship ? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I definitely name my ships. I tend to use "in character" thoughts rather than metagame thoughts, so they have real names and not attempts to game the system. :) So far I have used names suggested by the ships' appearance (an incursus named Narwh...

2. Easier way to copy Bm's? (from char to char) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Oisin So, what was so bad about people editing their own BMs that the devs had no option but to move them to server side? I was curious about this, too. I mean, if bookmarks are just a set of coordinates with a system id...

3. Destroyers ? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Fujino BTW wats PITA ? I may just get a destroyer to fool around with. PITA = Pain in the *ahem* behind. I run a gallente destroyer and it really makes level 1 missions a breeze. You can lay out a world of hurt o...

4. Is this theft on the grandest of grand scales? Or Justification? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
In general, if you do work for a company, the results of that work belong to the company. That's fairly straightforward. In this case, no matter how much of the company's bottom line you sucked out of the rocks in your strip miner, it's still comp...

5. Crews on the Ship versus "You are your Ship" - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I wouldn't mind seeing a large, complicated ship that you could crew with several gang members. Bob on engineering duty uses his engineering skill points, etc. Sally the gunner affects the turret tracking, range, etc. Fritz the pilot controls the...

6. Insurance Scaling / Tech II Ships - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Insurance gets ship value from the base price or the price of the minerals or something like that. You will never get close to purchase price for insuring a tech 2 ship. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

7. Queue for learning skills? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I would love to see that, or to see them add the ability to change skills to the My Character pages. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

8. ECCM, what do they do? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I think it has to do with how they work. In the ECM world, multi-spectral jammers seem to be more expensive, and they don't jam as efficiently as a single-spectrum jammer. I imagine Omni-eccm would be similar - I can overcome less jamming of eve...

9. Speed of EVE - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
Fin-like structures in real life spacecraft are usually involved in disposing of waste heat, which is a major problem at this time. Maybe it still is in EVE. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

10. Speed of EVE - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
What amuses me is that despite all of this, sublight travel is still incredibly slow - my Catalyst doesn't even exceed Mach. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

11. Multiple Targeting Questions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Having multiple targets can do a few other things, too: If you are running a mission whose enemies are not very durable vs. your weapons, you can split your fire pretty effectively. I routinely engage 3 frigate pirates in my destroyer at a time. ...

12. Graphics Cards [*ADVISE PLEASE*] - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I've got a 6600GT as well, and it works very well for EVE, WoW, Half Life 2, etc. If you want a good video card without paying the bleeding edge prices, I definitely recommend it. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

14. Is it possible to play your own mp3s and if so how? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you've got a decent amount of system memory, you can also start up your own mp3 player in the background and just turn down the in-game music. ----- The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

15. I've lost an agent - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]

16. The key to populate 0.0 - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

17. People in EvE not very nice ? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Hm. PVP games seem to attract the really competetive, and a lot of those people are jerks when they're competing. It's too bad, but that's how it is. On the other hand, I would say I have had a wider range of positive interactions in EVE than in ...

18. Yet another question about L2 agents - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]

19. I want to start playing Eve, but I'm scared. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
