I would be disappointed to hear that GF was/is a spinoff of a PvP guild like that.

Only thing Goons have brought to this game is a bunch of childish behavior, unfortunatly there isnt an age limit on EvE or a maturity level. They behave like children, they talk to you like children and they have no respect for anything.
Game would be better without them, atm EvE is going downhill from how it used to be. Guess the flower picking wannabee fairies from WoW that were known for this kind of attitude got bored and decided to hassle another comunity.

With respect (lest I get driven out of the game), BoB has more than it's fair share of condescending members who talk down to n00bs. Game is going downhill because of the stagnancy at the top if you ask me.

It looks pretty uphill from where I am standing. Though I guess when you are at the top you can only go downhill.

Funny, two weeks ago there were hardly any GS posts here. Then BoB told the Goons that nothing they did could possibly prevent their utter destruction... and they lost all incentive to behave like sensible people. Thanks BoB!

Heh. Actually, we're a very mature guild in the ranks, Kryztal. We've got a lot of post-graduates and professionals in the corp.
The only difference between GS and BoB are about 20-30m SP and a few billion isk per character, and oh, right...a sense of humility and (albeit usually crass) humor. Not reality, all "1"s and "0"s on a server in London somewhere.
You guys lose a ship to us, you pine about it and replace it and it's T2 and faction mods in an instant. We lose a ship to you, we make profit on the insurance and laugh about it.
We laugh a lot. We're happy people. Happier still since we caught a wardecced freighter with its pants down earlier.

I for one am glad that the Goonfleet is at war. It seems that BoB thinks that we are just going to fall apart and roll over and die because we are at war with everyone in the galaxy. With the help of our new mercs, we shall push back BoB and rule the galaxy like the rightful conquerors we are!
The truth is that the Goon morale has never been higher. We are having tons of fun playing this game right now. Flying frig blobs and ganking people in high sec space is quite a rush, although sadly not at the level back when we were fighting D2. Wardeccing half the universe has really opened up a lot of fun opportunities for us, and it gives us much needed practice.
Being a noob, having all of these skilled players to fight is definantly a good thing. Like they say, the best way to learn to play a game is to play against the best, which is why I am glad that the Goonfleet is at war. There are no better people to fight against then BoB, MC, and D2, ECTą and I am glad for that. If anything, once this whole issue blows over, I think that the Goonfleet has the most to lose, not in terms of ships (who honestly cares about losing a frig or cruiser?), but in terms of losing people to fight. Ask yourselvesą is it not the whole point of the game to fight people? While the goons may treat this game as an internet space ship game, we play it to have fun, and first and foremost fighting is the most fun we can have in this game.
Thanks to BoB, MC, D2, and all of the other alliances that Goonfleet is at war with are actually helping us out a lot. Our members are getting much needed experience with pvp and FCing. While we may be flying frigates and cruisers right now, just think where we will be in half a year. With all of the practice that our ęenemyĘ alliances are giving us, itĘs really helping our noobs, including myself, learn the game. Thanks a lot for that, and watch out for our mercs. Our enemies are the only ones with things to lose, not the Goonfleet, unless you consider a t1 frig something worth losingą

I'd really love to see you or anyone on these boards elaborate or even break away from the recent BoB dogma that Goonswarm is a cancer upon this game you all hold so dear. I challenge you to name one thing we as an Alliance have done that's a direct detriment to the health of Eve Online.
"Lag tactics" in the battle for XZH? Old news and thoroughly debunked. Lag affected both sides negatively, to the point where a weekend-long counter-offensive on D2's rampant POS building was completely called off thanks to the node crapping out on us for 4+ hours during US primetime.
Inflammatory and annoying posts? No one's forcing you to read them. Most of us lurked here before the gag order was lifted, and I can assure you this place was hardly a bastion of intelligent discourse before we started posting.
One short month ago, we were getting pats on the back from BoB members for slipping in XZH's back door and taking the fight to D2. We were getting praise even before that, and were looked upon as "a place for newbies to go" to learn the ropes of the game and bring in some new blood in general.
I guess when a pack of T1 frig newb goofballs made one of the "old guard" alliances look like dog crap for weeks and weeks, a switch got flipped in Molly's head. A pack of angry, determined bees is a frightening thing indeed.
Why don't you just admit that we're bad for YOUR vision of this game? BoB on top, legions of forums nuthuggers begging for your table scraps, and all other large alliances too complacent or scared to challenge your borders. Goonswarm challenges the status quo while trying to have fun at every turn, and when you fashion yourselves as the kings of an internet spaceship game, the very notion of that must make your blood curl. I know your righteous indignation and holier-than-thou BS curls mine.

I think the goons are good for the game if only for two simple reasons:
1)They're abour 1500 extra EVE subscribers
2)They're the only major alliance with the cajones to stir things up and engage in a battle for territory with another major alliance
Mostly the second though.

Says the man to the alliance who regularly dispatches other alliances from their homes. And is currently dispatching goons from S-U.
You see what Goon failed to do which happens to be one of the most vital parts of war is succeed in serious logistics. It takes a lot more than just a week and a war dec to take and hold a region correctly and I'm sure BoB knows this more than anyone.
Nobody here cares about your 1500 out the 200k subs, this game will not miss the childish crap your members display. I have yet to see one aspect of role play or real politics that the mass majority live for in this game.
Not every goon is bad, I know a few who are decent minded people, its just that it only take one rotten bannana to spoil the bunch. Also for goons to go to the lengths to create the VCbees series is just plain pathetic.
Mass creating 14 day accounts to harrass/convospam block stations and induce system lag isn't funny.
Anyway Im not an alt, just happend to get kicked from my old corp for some reason. Look up my history for proof.

I'm kinda surprised that GoonSwarm even care about an MC dec. Let's face it, MC is just a smaller version of BoB when it comes to skill and ability. If you've dec'd the larger version, why care if the tiny version comes after you. Afterall, MC are just alts.
