No, I agree, I think that they should give us time for having system problems. I understand that they can't have 24/7 uptime, but this is a company, and they should be treated as such.

Companies are not gods and cannot control everything, and they also make mistakes as well. They do not deserve to be treated like the town witch every time something out of there control happens. This whole mentality of corporate always being wrong and the customer always being right is severly skewed ATM. Everyone makes mistakes, and to expect any one person or group to be without mistakes is unreasonable (even if this is a mistake, which i severly doubt, i imagine its just one of those things that happens with one of the 500 most complex computer systems in the world) Get over it.

Isn't it something like 50p per day or something lol ??
On those grounds I think CCP should be happy to refund theyre ú1, provided they are willing to pay postage and packaging and its sent through the mail (adding ú4.50 to their bill for postage and administration costs)

Exiled One - you will be able to get a refund credited to your account if you write to CCP.
But then you give up the free expansions packs and it'll cost you $30 each time they release a new major version of EVE.
(This is ofc. sarcastic, *****ing like an idiot over nothing and forgetting that you arent paying for expansions in EVE )
Seek not to bar my way, for I shall win through - no matter the cost! |

Originally by: Edvard Godspeed Perhaps you should read the EULA? I would suggest taking a look at part 12 there --> 12. NO WARRANTIES
If you dont like it. Just dont click accept.
A single abusive clause in a contract can render it null and void. The law prevails over stupid contracts (e.g. reverse engineering is legal in Europe even though most EULA say you are not allowed.)

Please post feedback on the server-issues in the server issues thread, and please keep it constructive. Refund-posts like this tend to generate a lot of excitement and flaming, so please avoid posting them. The most effective way of communicating your complaint to CCP is to mail them, stating that you'd like a refund due to the server-problems, and they will handle it from there. Posting here will most likely only result in a flame-war and the subsequent closure of the thread.
