Hi, I have EON 4 but not a subscription, and was wondering how the starmap poster looked like, because I was planning to do a mini starmap project myself. I want to find out what's available before I start with my work.
So does anyone care to explain how it looks like? What I want to know is does the map present in a clear way the sometimes 'entangled' jumps between systems? What colour is it? What info does it contain?
Do you think it's a pretty poster or is it a helpful reference? Or both? Does anyone have a scan/photo of it?

Yes I use Ombeve's maps a lot and I love them. Still I would like to develop a few custom maps for my own use, especially I want to see if I can put the inter-regional jumps into perspective.
There's also a new collection of maps from eve-maps.com and they look very pretty, the problem is that they come in a printed book and the maps have a dark background, and I think for these reasons it prevents you from making your own notes on them.
So yeah has anyone see the starmap poster in EON 4?

Hi Ching
I don't have EON4, but wasn't aware there was a starmap poster in it? Are you not referring to Serenity Steele's advert for eve-maps.com?

no there was a 2 sided poster for all subscribers with eon 4. One side was the scale picture of all the ships and the other side was a star map of eve

The map is basically an ingame version of the map.
Jump lines are colored by system/constellation/region and the systems are colored to represent security status.
It's A2 sized, roughly, and has the region names on it, but no solar system and constellation names.
