Trader's Academy is once again throwing it's doors open to established and new trader types. Mission runners and miners are more than welcome to join, but we are really into that whole trade thing.
The Academy has been around since last year and has both a happy history and some fantastic support from players around the community.
We are here to help new players learn the ins and outs of the market, manufacturing, IPOs and moving stuff around.
If you are interested please join channel "Trader's Academy" or come say hello at the trader's lounge.
Make this your next step in the trading and manufacturing world.

If you're looking for a friendly group of people to work with the Trader's Academy is the place to go. I'm a trader/mission runner myself, and have never once felt unwelcome because I don't solely do trading. Our alliance is also a great group of folks, and they have been a great help in my learning about all of the aspects of Eve. All said I always look forward to my chat tabs blinking. :)
I've helped out all sorts of pilots who do all manner of things in Eve with being better traders. I started off with the Academy as a total noob, but I've also seen a few very experienced players joining up to learn the secrets of a truly challenging career. Like most things in Eve trading is an incredibly rich and constantly changing environment. Trust me...it's a lot of fun.
Some run massive trading empires. Some, like me, like to use trading to augment some of our other activities.
I think new players will find that trading makes a great springboard into the game. There's a lot to Eve as anyone can tell you, but at the core of it all is trading. Either you learn to run the market or the market runs you! And even if you don't stick with the Academy forever you will have made a lot of friends who will stick with you.

Been here nearly a year now, stil trading, still going strong.
At the moment i'm looking to start a mining / mission running division. I'd love some volounteers to help me run that side of it.
Mining rocks! (as does trading of course, we all love trading).

If you have any interest in the industry or trade side - no matter whether you are new or experienced - and want to join a corp of like-minded people to learn and share, this is the place to be!
I personally started as a inexperienced Iteron Mark III pilot fighting for the first 10m in the wallet and am now part of a group of Trader's Academy guys launching a spin-off together - mainly with alts though, so that our mains can stay in corp.
Great people, great forum and great opportunities!
