Goodluck running those NOS. AFs aren't exactly HARD to jam with a multispec.
Must suck having to jam an AF to beat it. Not like there aren't enough other ways as it is.

Where are drones in all this? A Raven can sport 5 mediums and have room for more. What if they're webbers? ECMs? A good Caldari pilot knows the importance of drones, even if our ships aren't catered to them.

The DPS on a cruise raven is low, but the crucial point, at least in pirating is that it's constant dps at any range and effective on all ships if your using t2.
In my gate camping days my raven wtfbbq'd 100s of other BS no problem at all without support. Like nagissa said, avoid a blasterthron at opt and also nos ships but apart from that you'll rip apart most from experience.
It's also one of the few ships that will shred HACs in seconds... (of course you'll need to fit 1 or 2 energy neuts for this)
I spent a few weeks messing with torps / javelins and they just are not flexible enough solo. With painting gang m8s yes, but solo, you'll get pinned by a ceptor.
Often it seems cruise are ignored as torps don't need support skills. You get guys complaining of poor dmg and you find out they have >10sec rof ffs :(...but with the right skills (I have 12m in missiles with maxed cruise skills), they rock quite hard.

took out 3 afs and 1 inty in my torpedo raven, inty was packing an ab, still died.
noob raven pilots will die to a frigate just like any other noob pilot in other race.
ravens can be equipped to be deadly things, it would just depend on the pilot's own experience and comfort flying the raven.

I was talking about taking on AFs / Ceptors while under sentry fire.. you only get a few mins to kill the target and make your escape. I agree in that you have nothing to fear from small ships as long as you are not having to kill within X amount of time and have good skills.
