As a player who is new to the game, you seriously "don't know how much you don't know".
If you want to get there quickly, this is a team who is willing to put forth the time and effort (and ISK) to make sure you get what you need, when you need it and have fun while doing it. I am new too (see 1.5 months) and am just now experiencing the best parts of Eve.
Drop Misti an Eve-mail and see what you have been missing out on.

All players new and old. Mix of newer players and some of the oldest in game. These guys are the coolest to hang with and to learn from. As Misti said 'BIG' things are happening within the OXIDE alliance.
