Currently i'm using 4 220mm's 2 small nos 10mn a/b webber and a disruptor 1600mm rolled tungsten, 3 energized plates for thermal, kinetic explosion, and a t2 small armor repairer.
What i like about this setup is that you can keep going when your cap is gone, which happens quite frequent.
Should i drop the t2 small repairer and replace it with something else like a damage control etc.?
Also, i'm getting t2 220mm's soon

I used to have 1600 mm plate, 2 energized adaptive nano membranes, 1 damage mod and a damage control. I think thats slightly better than what you have on now, specially if you have armor compensation skills. No need for small repper fitted, but you can have one in cargo with you and just dock to repair after the fight.
And dont forget drones, they add quite alot to the dps.

Yep, try to find a way to squeeze in at least 1 gyro, dps improves greatly then
Either:
Gyro II 2 EANM II DCU 1600mm
Or for more gankage put 2 gyros II and 1 EANM II (considering the price of EANM II, I often do that)
Having a rep in hold or fitted depends on where you're operating, if you're in deep 0.0 without stations nearby and are operating alone, I guess you have to make choices ...
And yeah, 5 light drones II help a lot
Also, consider using a mwd instead of an AB, will depend on your targets mostly (With mwd, you have to use 3*220mm II and a dual 180mm II) _

1600mm plate with passive resistance means you are less likely to get vaporised when nossed. you can utilise the whole proj/missle no cap deal while having quite a large buffer to stop getting yourself toasted as soon as yer cap runs out which is what will happen with the med rep/no plate....I guess this is assuming that you are game to take on larger ships than a cruiser.
