Edit Adding Mission text if anyone cares :p
Mission name: ----------------------- Prove your loyalty to the Republic
Mission briefing: ----------------------- The Republic considers you to be a valuable and loyal friend. But we want to find out just how loyal you are. I want you to travel to the xxxxxx system in the xxxx constellation. Orbiting a moon in the system is the ruins of the tomb of one of the hated Amarrian conquistadors. I want you to go there, into Amarr space, and steal one Temple Stone from right under their nose. Bring the stone back to me and I will give you a handsome reward - a blueprint! You should expect to meet some resistance from any Amarrian you meet, but you have plenty of time to complete the task - 13 hours. Now is the time to for you show what you're made off!
Objectives: ----------------------- To complete the mission, the following must be provided by you. one unit of Temple Stone at Illinfrik VII - Moon 12 - Pator Tech School in the Illinfrik system in the Odengsolf constellation
Rewards: ----------------------- Upon completing the mission, the following will be rewarded to you. one unit of Miner II Blueprint at Illinfrik VII - Moon 12 - Pator Tech School in the Illinfrik system in the Odengsolf constellation
On Fast Completion: ----------------------- If you complete the mission within 1 hour of accepting, the following will be rewarded to you. 40959 credits
Extra info Temple had maybe 10 or so 10k Angel Impaler pirates and 6 40k Angel Marauder pirates, was no real problem in a rupture shields hit 50% on intial warp in but moved to range and picked them off with no real problem few rare mod drops also which was nice bonus.
Due to concord intervention (aka Agent missions) no Amarr opened fire on me during the transit as I was cleverly disguised as a friend to them.
No I didn't make the 1 hour 40k bonus cash since I was looting all the cargo pods from NPC pirates

Congrats on the miner 2 bp. Quick question: were all those missions done when you were max standing with your corp? Currious if declining a mission ruins chance of getting a bp.

Good job!
THIS is exactly the type of sh!t that I like seeing around here. It makes me happy to see the small-timer's getting rewarded like this.
I hope you become a billionaire because of it, Rizz.

Bah only done with 100 missions, but I consider me lucky, I got 2 implant missions in a row (oh no momy that's not fair, get over it kiddo ain't going to whine if you don't win the lottery are you?). These missions are boring and I doubt that more than 5 players will go up to 1000 missions, ofcourse by that time I hope lvl 4 agents will be in. And another thing papa please track down those with lvl 4 agents and shut them off from it, they have to do let's say the boring 280 and amusing 20 lvl 3 agent missions to get it. I'll be damned if someone gets up with having a lvl 4 agent from his lvl 2 due to an bug when the others have to lick their lvl 3's arse.

I wonder what the Amarr, Caldari and Gallente missions are going to be?
And what happens if you are a Minmatar that does the mission for an Amarr Faction to screw over the Republic
I am suprised we havn't had the - 'this is just an exploit - its not fair that CCP didn't decide to drop this BP into my hangar at the same time' comments so far.
Good going tho Rizz I was beginning to wonder if it was worth using an agent after a certain point and this certainly answers that.
Bring on thise agent missions again

Edited by: OpasNost on 09/10/2003 11:17:30 Suggestion to the owner of the Miner-II Original BP : Making copies ( limited 50-run ) wil take less than a day. Just make lot's of copies and sell them for 100 MIL each. In this case you will make billions very fast without doing a lot of mineral-collection and manufacturing.
This because of the fact that you have to make your money while you can :)
At the moment there are 3 originals in the games and a few copies. Prices will drop very fast.
What will happen if they start selling the Miner-II bp on the normal NPC market: you won't make a penny anymore.
Pse think about yourself, and take this in mind.
Good Luck

... You must've missed all the b*tchin' that took place on the general forum when the news about first person getting BP from the agent appeared... >.<;
Mr.Rizz - congratulations =) (and so it looks like 250 missions is likely threshold for those BP drops...)

Just so you know you are the 4th person I am aware of that has been to that system looking for temple stones for a miner II BP.
It's quite fun shooting all those 40k cruisers for the interesting goodies they drop and then have people arrive and ask for directions.
Course, I'm the nice helpful kind of guy that will give them a hand collecting one of those valuable rare artifacts. And it's nice to have one stashed away for when I need it.
Also miner II BP's aren't the only ones being offered. One person had been offered something else, though I've forgotten what it was now .
On a more serious note, the temple stones may not be cornered on the market, but it might be possible for some 'evil scum' to camp the ruined temple site, and on one occaision the storage container had been filled with junk, preventing the temple stones from respawning. ----------------------------------------------- IÆm not schizophrenic... Quote: Congrats on the miner 2 bp. Quick question: were all those missions done when you were max standing with your corp? Currious if declining a mission ruins chance of getting a bp.
Not all missions were done at max standing I refused a few silly missions, mainly the ones that want me to load up an indy and make my way into Amamake where a few reaper podders hang out cause they too scared to leave empire space and shoot anyone who can fight back
Quote: But what are you gonna do with the BP now? Are you worth 500 mil? More?
Not worth 500 mil, and I probably just a make a few miner 2's sell em on market never was that worried about cash as long as I have enough to replace my ships buy a few toys to play with I'm happy.
I started doing agent missions once I got a little bored of hunting NPC rats in 0.0 space, almost gave up after getting a bugged agent near the begining a level 1 agent took my faction with his corp to 5.77 but not one referal not even to another level 1 agent, stopped missions for a little hunted NPCs some more wondering if I ever get that last .6 sec rating to hit 10.0 and started on a new level 1 agent this one finally referred me to a level 2 and carried on.
Quote: Just don't sell it please
Don't plan on selling it, I have some 100 or so BP originals (Mostly ammo or missiles but a few ships, weapons and mods also) kept in a spare ships cargo hold so as not to clutter up hanger, I like having the BPs to make anything I need for my ships not have to keep stripping other ships to fit a new one.
Quote: What will happen if they start selling the Miner-II bp on the normal NPC market: you won't make a penny anymore.
From what I understand not all Tech 2 BPs will be sold on open market some will for auctions as a money sink but some will be through NPC drops others through Agent missions etc, I'm guessing they don't want the situation that occured with Tech 1 BPs which was anyone can buy it after a while therefore anyone can produce it giving no real reason to specialize in any area.

As long as it isnt only certain corporations or corporations types :-)
If its 250 level 3 missions then I have about 60 to go before I start having a chance at getting em, if its overall missions then I'm already past that.
Rizz, a few question if you don't mind?
how many level 3 missions did you do, and were they all with the same agent? What rating was your agent? What corp was he in? What was your Minmatar faction rating?

link on post above shows agent status and missions completed all for same level 3 agent of Pator Tech School, my Minmater republic faction started at 7.something but dropped to 6.85 or so from refusing silly missions.

"Miner-II original blueprint CAN be copied :)"
... As i understand it, it can be copied but the process of copying takes longer than simply producing the same amount of the items. Of course, selling copies can still be a viable route if the corporation which owns the BP doesn't want to bother with gathering resources for production... however, the time involved most likely means selling copies won't bring the prices down.

Yes production time is 2250 secs or around 33mins, copying time is 360,000 secs just over 4 days.

Copy-times on the BP-info are for maximized limited runs ( in this case 300 ). If you make for example 50-limited runs bpc's the copy-time will be much much shorter :)

Ahh didn't know that since never actually copied a BP yet always used my originals.
Then again I'm not flying my BP around to my research lab anytime soon ;p leave it in the factory slot where it's nice and safe for now (barring bugs etc) heheh
