Why not change the ship to be something really different. Give Amarr an SB bonus.. say +20 percent range increase and cycle reduction. Make it a really close range ship!

Dunno when the Amarr brought up the Doctorine of ganking their support in combat.

Dunno if this has been suggested in another thread, I don't usually read threads about the Abaddon, but how about something along the lines of the curse?
Drone + Nos bonus? Or if that steps on the toes of the domi too much, Nos + Tracking Disruptor?

What amarr really need is an optimal bonus, because lasers have the shortest optimal bar artilleries, but then artilleries have an huge falloff to compensate...

It has, in basically every thread, and tbh I'm getting tired of posting that if we DID get a drone BS the devs would have to be crazy to make it tier 3.

Tier 3 does not necessarily mean its better, so whats the difference if it is? Tux said himself the new "Tier 3" bs's weren't going to be any better then the existing ones, just different.
Sooooo, Caldari get missile bs's and a turret bs, Galenti get a drone boat, blaster/rail boat, and a close range blaster boat. Minmitar get 2 turret bs's and a missile/turret hybrid. Amarr get......yep you guessed it, 3 turret boats  .
So, what difference does making the drone Abbadon a tier 3 bs? None.
