Got a few questions in a 3 player game when 1 player dies what happens to his regions, locations e.c.t. Do they stay or go?
Anyone got a list of the ratio of cards in the pre made decks? I need to make a deck up fast as the next game is 5 player. EveryoneÆs playing with pre made decks but a friend has my pre made deck. Can anyone tell me how many news, locations, ships e.c.t are in the pre made Gallente deck?
The last question is how does ambush work. Does a ship have to retreat to do the ambush damage or can it ambush then stay and fight? I got into a situation where my ship was set to ambush which happens in the withdraw setup but the enemy ship meant my ship couldnÆt withdraw. We didnÆt know if ambush still worked or not.

ambush allows you to do damage when the opponent withdraws his ships.
This basicly happens beofre targeting and before fighting

What about Cathedral it says when your starbase is upgraded destroy cathedral. I assume then if you play cathedral after the starbase has been upgraded then it stays in play? Passive shield tanking guide, click here. |

I would assume so since you can no longer upgrade your starbase.

Not quite right. Ambus means you can deal ambush damage in the withdraw step. So you can do that even if noone is actually withdrawing from battle. And its done first so the withdrawing attacker cant avoid the damage, unless he can kill you ships by kamikaze or similar in the Begin Battle Step.
If the amush brings the damaged ship to SHield 0 the ships is destroyed in this step. If not the damamge is carried over to the normal battlestep. (Unless the attacker withdrew from combat...)

Yes indeed my explanation was abit wrong ! I reread the text and you are right
Quote: Ambushing ships get to deal their ambush damage during the withdraw step and Elysha decides to deal it to the Tristan. Now she needs to deal 1 more damage to the Tristan during this phase to destroy it.

If you still need the ratio question answered: 4 Starbase Structures 15 Locations (11 asteroid belts with three of those being Veld) 8 News 16 Ships By contrast the Caldari has 18 ships and 13 locations (6 of them asteroid bels and the three Veld) This makes me think some of my asteroids got in the wrong pile...
When one player dies their cards go away, this will cause other players locations on their regions to go to the respective scrapheaps and ships probably return to their home region. This is important as a player may have to leave to go home, meaning their cards HAVE to leave. Logically the locations were part of a particular place and the place is gone, but the ships can retun home (This is how I plan to play it)

There's a debate of sorts going on about the multiplayer death issue here. -----
