Hi,
What are default insurance payouts for uninsured ships, mostly capital ones? Is the info somewhere, or do I have to go pop all of them in test server?

I got 10.8 mil for losing a brutix, which cost me 24.6 mil. I don't think its as low as 25%, maybe more like 35 - 40ish?

Also, keep in mind the insurance payout is based on the mineral build requirements, not the ship itself

In order to examine base price, look at the databases that are floating around, such as CCP's own on this very site.
Brutix
At the bottom of the page there's a Base Price of 27,000,000.00 on the Brutix, so 40% of 27 million is 10.8 million.

This is where owners of T2 ships often go wrong. The actual build cost of a Vagabond is around 20 million (if you run the POSes yourself), while the base price of the ship is (as seen in the link above) just short of 18 million. Pretty darned accurate, no?
These ships then sell for 120 million or more on market, and people expect to get 50 million or more from basic insurance - what they really get is 7.2 million. Common misstake

So, we can go with 40% of the base price mentioned in EVE's own pages?
That would make for Chimera:
base price
ISK 733.826.590,00
basic insurance: 293.530.636
Sounds simple enough :D
