Wouldn't it be real cool if you could buy luxury spaceships that had the same or little less agility than a shuttle and would go like 2000m/s and had maybe 50m3 cargo for the luggage  . Maybe low and med power slots..
My price idea would be like 20 - 50 million ISK
Anyways this is just an idea.

That's not a bad Idea, CCP could extend it to another skillset, even add it to agent missions and some type of special cargo transfers between station in and out of empire space.
Maybe for the real industrious they could run sight seeing missions/ excursions into AB's to see the notorius Serpentis...or Blood raiders.
Hey take it a step further and have small stations above planets an moons with regular travel. Maybe every now and then the elite of the 4-5 races might travel arround with their escorts.
Of course being unarmed craft, destroying or holding one for ransom would bring a wide range of responses from CONCORD and other interested parties, even in 0.0 space.
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.

There is already some of the code (atleast a model and textures) for a Gallente Yacht. It looks pretty cool, too.

Yup, during one of the betas i flew the gallente luxury ship for a while. Was quite a nice ship with a huge cargo for a ship that size but less shields and armor than a bestower. If it gets back in game it will probably have different stats though;
I flew around with it for about 5 minutes before the GM who gave it to me podded me again so i lost it, nasty people those GMs :)

The thing is what ideas would you incorporate into luxury? What defines luxury in eve?
In real life, you can define luxury as something that is not necessary, but adds to your image or comfort. Example: leather seats or chrome wheels in cars.
Thinking about what those in eve would be, I have to agree with the original poster, speed is definitely a luxury in eve. It would be great as well if these ships could mount short range jump-drives (max 2 jump distance). Of course, these ships will also have to look good as well! (..Cough...SYMMETRY...Cough).

hmm the ship would firstly go slower and have a Faction improving effect. (pirates exluded beceause they like to plunder them) to all faction and makes deals better for you

love the idea!
would be nice to see things of this nature added into the game although I wouldnt want things of this nature to be on the top of the to do list
