Perhaps the sudden INSANE lag spikes in any area with more then 40 pilots in space has something to do with this... 
Lol you new or something? You're acting like this is anyhting actually new.... been having periods of lag/bad server performance since the game started. Just like any other MMO.

It's been like this since day one really to a greater or lesser extent. The topic people are "discussing" seems to change every month or so.
Luckily most of the threads aren't too bad and some even have some constructive posts in them (the bad ones at least get locked or deleted pretty quickly). And if you think eve-o is bad you should see some other game forums, they are ALL whining/trolling/flaming/etc.

I found most of the whining reasonable. There are of course problems common to all mmorpgs, but there are game mechanics in eve that could be done better.
Hopefuly the devs are at least statistically reading whine-threads to see where they should focus they attention / what can be done to enrich game experience for players.

There isnt so much more whining as there was when i started playing where there where 12k players at sunday/monday peak time. But whats worying is the amount of hate to new players seen on the forums, where one askes a question and frst few replays are "go back to hole you came form noob" and such and theres more and more of this. Am i geting to old for this game ???

I'd say the constant server resets due to database failures caused the influx of "whining."
The most obvious source of this new burden is the flood of instas and insta-copying.
Yeah yeah, whine all you want about that, but if you're wondering why EVE's choking, it's because of the dependency on instas to outrun gank-camps.

I think thre is a bit of underlying rage as well. There are more people, which means more whiners too. The fact of the matter is a long long time ago, kali was supposed to come out last year, then it was said that possibly it would be Q2 this year, now its Q3. I think a lot of the older players can also feel the classic december release looming as well. The game has bugs now, they have to release the dragon code patch, and kali in the next 4-6 weeks? I don't see how this is going to happen, or even should really. Thats a lot of changes to the game very quickly which will just lead to more and more bugs.

I agree with the OP, the wining is getting worse along with the number of pointless threads on these forums. I feel it has been getting worse since Nov-Dec 05 and you wanna know what i think is the cause? Our beautiful game has seen an influx of players who formerly played Staw Wars Galaxies and they seem to feel the need to whine, moan, twist and bleet about anything that doesn't suit them in the vain hope that they will achieve a change or nerf that suits them. They cant seem to understand that it was this activity that trashed swg 
Thankfully, Eve is run/developed by a group of individuals who appreciate and listen to constructive posts only, for which this community should be proud and thankful. I personally would support a stricter policy on posting i.e if you havnt got anything of substance to say...stfu and increase your post count on www.talkaboutnothing.com

The complaints have always been there but as with everything you will put up with them for a while,
But eventualy you get ticked off and you start to voice your complaint,
However ccp dont listen to us no matter how hard we whine and that makes us get more ****ed off and we post again, and again.
My point been eve is eve, it is as its always been and no matter how much we cry to the devs they wont change it.

QTF dude... very obvious empire carebears are making too much isk. then they gotz nottin else to do except whine about everything. they needs be put to their place and nerfed. make everywhere 0.0 peepz will be too worried about watching their own butt in game they cant be arsed to whine on whorums.
