So I've done some of the Jump Bridge planning for the CFC for a few years. 5 LY is nothing. You have some systems that will be inaccessible to hostiles through a proper set of cyno jammers. I'd swear that some people don't even play the game they support.
Congrats CCP, you really know how to break up a hegemony. gg |

We have 800+ dudes in this system right now. Come across the galaxy and kill us.

Anybody who lives far from NPC space is basically untouchable now. We can hole up in Branch and nobody could touch us.
And for those who are uninformed, the reason that the null sec groups are 'crying' is because they understand null sec. I know it's hard to understand when you live in high sec, but using jump bridges and capitals are daily living up here. Hell, I traveled 30 LY just today via jump bridge, and that was just to pick up a single module. Without this, we're back to the days of daily freighter runs, which are boring as hell.
And if you want a fight? Good ******* luck. And eve without fights is a dead eve. |

The irony is that the majority of the people gloating in this thread are rookie corp players posting on an alt or living in empire still.
Just an FYI, to travel 31 LY in 8 jumps in a JF? Around an hour and 51 minutes waiting. Have fun with your logistics when you're 70 LY from jita. |

Just to clarify for those of us in rorqual/JF/Freighters:
You have 0 fatigue. You jump 5 LY - you have (1 + 0.5) = 1.5 fatigue You wait 5 minutes - you have 1 fatigue You jump 5 LY - you have (1 * (1 + 0.5)) = 1.5 fatigue Repeat
Is this correct? Mainly so we can't use the same midpiont cyno (5+5 minutes == 10) |

Another 40 posts, and this will be the highest replied to topic in this entire set of forums. The only other one was the Reasonable Things megathread awhile back with 4,282 replies.
Just want to make it clear that this gives the current blocs an easy 'I win' button as people will have to be organized with lots of allies to stand against an invasion. And the current blocs are organized already. It slows the game down, makes it tougher to get huge fights, and leads to pointless difficulties to newbies and logi people alike.
Any small group that thinks this will help them might want to look closer if you think this will stop people from taking gates to kill you. |

Hey, the change is good for goons, I just think it is bad for the game. |

You are correct, there were actually two threads. I only went through the current forums, not the old ones,: 5096 - T20 - http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=526462&page=170 3156 - T20 response - http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=473335&page=106
Some other important ones. 4304 - speed nerf - http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=831524&page=144 3552 - dominion sov - http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=1210267&page=119 3276 - fighter bombers - http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=618279&page=110
e: So we are now past the last major implementation threadnaught, the speed nerf, which was huge. Congrats. We'll see if CCP considers anything, or just blindly implements stuff as they usually do, promising to 'fix it' later. Like the Dominion Sov system. |

Yeah, POS improvements have been in the pipe for 4 years. How's that coming? Oh, nothing? |

Not quite. Still need to work on getting to T20 levels. Yes, only straight cheating by a dev is more debatable.

You can't jump for 50 minutes? Might as well play some League of Legends in the meantime. |

'Smaller groups' 'Break up the blocs' 'Roaming is back'
Seriously, why the **** do you think these changes will do any of those? It won't stop our gameplay of 'blobbing'.
We'll just travel in a big ass wrecking ball, hold you down to bring even more dudes, gate-to-gate, down on your head. And since dictors can EASILY burn ahead of you, the best you can hope for is an emergency jump-debt escape and do a safe logout.
So have fun running. Think carefully about it before you're like 'nullbear tears'. |

Contact me for a recruiting opportunity. Might be your only choice once we close up null sec to small groups.

Check again, they are ruining any small group's game. Many of us are crying over the loss of the big fleet battles though.
Just because it takes time to reach you doesn't mean we won't come and stomp your tiny corp to bits. |

So, after 7,700 posts, I guess CCP will just implement without changes? I mean, since it is such a simple and straight forward change, and everyone is in agreement. And I'm sure the CSM has now discussed ALL the changes, for more than 12 hours, since you didn't talk about 50% of this dev blog with them beforehand.
This has now had more debate than when T20 magicked T2 BPOs into existence. Maybe you guys could just do that instead.
But don't worry guys! They'll modify it to 'fix' it after it goes live. Just like Dominion Sov. And that door on your captains quarters. And POSes. and Super's ewar immunity. And anomalies. And war decs. And Faction Warfare. And heavy missiles. And the half a dozen hulls that nobody uses. And the blue donut. Oh wait, this is the fix for that, right? Yeah, totally trust they're going to fix this post patch. |

Hello Page 402.
It's good to see you. I wasn't sure you were going to make it, but it's not like it matters, posts after the first 2500 are pointless. At least ISD is here to read these posts, even if devs are not.
Some people thinks eve moves too fast. In fact, that's the reason all of my gaming friends quit. They were like 'There was just too much PVP! I had like 10 minutes to play, and I was able to find like 3 fights, easily! I never had to travel for 45 minutes through empty systems looking for dudes who wouldn't run away!' I can't wait to invite them back to the game. I'm sure they'll be overjoyed to travel 20 jumps in a big slow ship, and if things go badly, they can just take a jump bridge that we pay billions of isk for a couple times and be unable to play for a day or two.
But yes, the blue donut. How dare people band together. If only there was a way we could get those people to really defend their space, you know, by making it difficult for them to move around. So they'd be stuck there, with all their ships and all their danger-free ratting. I know! We'll make it hard for someone to invade them by putting them out of range of everything! It's such a perfect idea. Unintended consequences, why would we worry about those.
And the difficulty of buying stuff? They're fixing that! You just make them make everything. Everyone has to build! Because everyone should be building all the parts of all their ships in their space. I mean, once they get all their ingredients. But it should be funny when they realize that their home regions don't make all the parts they need. They'll need towers on the other side of the galaxy to build stuff. Isn't that crazy?! Who needs Jita when you can just gather all the stuff yourself by encouraging people to stay home!
Anyway, I've taken up enough of your time. Say hi to walking in stations for me, and I hope your monocle is fitting better than ever.
Love and kisses, Fortress Deklein
PS. Send isk, I have sov bills to pay. Oh wait, have plenty here, nevermind. |
