Who said multiple PLEX? If they can afford it, why waste time earning ISK as a newbie when you can use that time getting experience? OP, T1 frigs/dessies/cruisers will be all you'll need for a while, more so if you join somewhere with a decent SRP. I never did but I wish i'd have bought a PLEX and saved myself a lot of time and periods of getting fed up with playing just to make ISK to PVP with. Once you've got yourself to where you want to be and have a decent corp, you will have plenty of time to earn ISK easily.

To the OP, I will ask you to think about what you want to do. Every occupation has a fairly equal hazard level. If you are interested in doing something other than industry, don't skill into anything over a mining barge if you want to supplement your income that way. If, like me, you want to do industry, start off with getting into an exhumer and get your mining skills to at least Lv. 4 and then start expanding your skills into PI, manufacturing, research and invention, etc. It also pays to have a decent hauling ship. I also do get bored sometimes so I do have an exploration and a missioning ship (convert your LP's into other items that you can sell as well :D)
Anyway, don't fall into that belief that mining is a dumb, boring occupation. I suggest you do your research and find out what you want to do.
CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them. |

Welcome to EvE!
Now go join a corporation that is doing something you are interested in.
If you find out you don't get along with them, leave the corp and look for another.
The quicker you find people in this game, that you want to fly with... the quicker you'll realize this game is as good as you think.
One last tip... If you mission run, then learn to salvage & use tractor beams. You'll get a lot more ISK from the salvage than the mission payouts.
All the tips telling you to work your way up thru frigs > destroyers > cruisers > BC > BS are giving you good advice. Every ship builds the skills that will be the foundation for the next ship. I learned the hard way... I got into BS as fast as I could, then spent a ton of time working up my weapons skills so I could get to T2 guns.

Industry 5
Science 4
To even get in a barge, that is a fair old amount of non fighting skills and
once you are in one, how much more exciting than a Venture is it ?

the masterplan is playing the lore some Roleplay thingy , trying to do all Gallente cosmos missions and than maybe the serpentis epic arc if my standings allow it or i find a way to repair them and the Gallente epic arc ... and i want to go into the DED combat site scanning buisness and of course doing the anoms on my way to while traveling around to scan for DED's. oh my as i opened the thread i just asked if it is wise to skill into a barge first and than skilling the other stuff in the meatime when i mine . you senior eve players hate each other out of nonsense ... silly :-P |

You can get a probe scanning ship from the exploration career agent, you hack relic and data sites for loot by playing the mini hacking game. Relic sites become a bit obsolete for more experienced players as do the lower lever ded sites. Exploration is about finding stuff, If you find a good asteriod site, grab a venture and mine it till it's gone which isn't long once all the miner realise it is there. If you find a good combat site, grap a combat ship even though the exploration frigates can be quite tough, depending how you fit them. You can tell the level of the complex by the name, for example Serpentis lookout and Angel Lookout are the same level. Security missions can be a good way to get used to using a combat ship. Agents will only give you higher level missions if you have enough standing so you can find yourself often mission running for the same corporation. Those Ded Combat Sites can get quite competitive as you progress to the more difficult complexes, the experienced exploration players know what they are after and they hack/scan/loot pretty fast

I've only been posting here for a couple of weeks, some of these guys are ok, give you advice and are quite helpful. Some of them think they own the forum and can command the moderators to do their bidding. Unfortunately the later seems to be true, don't even bother posting here.

reading tons of Guides watching jhonny pew alot and try to get as many informations i can get for a game that needs Knowledge to be played succesfully ... iam sorry if you just startet playing without reading up any information about it maybe iam faster than you dont b jelly xD but not everyone likes to be the Naive new player who has to ask in the newbie help " where the hell is this aura agent and why cant i activate the Medium Laser on my Magnate" everyone starts different .... pity huh ? |
