I'm not a higher up, but our primary reason(IMHO) for the war dec was the 40man Eve uni fleets of Blackbirds and frigs along with haulers coming into BWF after having sat in Airaken at gates for well over 1 hour on several occassions in the last week and a half. Ofcourse they werre joined by other local alliances in BWF forming over 75ppl at times versus our 20ish. Unfortunately, as soon as the war dec came through, Eve-uni seem to have decided to leave.
So...
You are saying we have no right to defend the system which [BLUE] still held sovern over that contains countless amounts of E-UNI assets, in which you guys were destroying all of our POS's in?
Plus, the little fact that E-UNI had arranged for us to remove our stuff from IPS peacefully, and the first chance SAS/E-R got, they destroyed our haulers on the way out breaking the agreement.
TBB was going to disband weeks ago, but the constant deal breaking by SAS/E-R for us to clear E-UNI out peacefully kept us there.
To think about all the fuel / ammo you guys wasted destroying our undefended POS's. We were in the process of removing all of our POS's from IPS.
I have come across no other corps / alliances that have truely earned the term grievers more clearly then SAS/E-R have the last few weeks.
Don't bother to reply here, as I have no futher comment on that subject. Feel free to use another thread, as this thread is about E-UNI getting back to business.
You seem to be angry about something.. its a game. Relax.
I havent said anything about what you have the right to do or not.
I merely pointed out why E-R war declared on TBB..

Eve University is leaving IPS, but we still have assets there are necessary to reducing our many outstanding corporate debts. (Eve University as a Corporation was never rich.)
If E-R & friends would be willing to provide a 48 hour safe passage to remove our POS out of the IPS cluster, including access to the stations in order to remove our corporations and our memberÆs assets as well, this could all be resolved cleanly. Just state so on these forums.
As long as we have assets trapped in IPS, we have no alternative but to fight for them or ask friends for help until they are released. If EuphoriaÆs goal is to PvP as much as possible with Eve University, I guess I can ôunderstandö it, but it isnÆt about controlling IPS.

Shame to hear about that debt thing. I had been under the impression Eve-Uni had been debt free a month ago. Seems some agreements just will not be honored.

I see lots of information about TBB and EVe uni having agreements with Euphoria Released to leave, however i have not seen anything in my mail about this.
So being ceo i find this quite odd that i don't have any from you about leaving.

I wish you all good luck and success beyond your expectations.

I think I have seen you offer 10bil on a tech2 bpo but you didn't get it. Just transfer the ISK to me and that will do nicely Edit, just noticed this.
Thanks to Kodell for doing the honors for me and posting my bit that I wrote almost 2 weeks ago.
In a few words; we left IPS (and thus TBB although we still have great respect for NAGA) because it was distracting us more from our primairy mission then enhancing it.
Access to 0.0 is nice for EVE Uni both for teaching and for the more experienced members. Don't forget that many of our staff/instructors could be classified as veterans and they also need incentives to stay with the uni.
In any case, my day is made. It's great to see the Uni is moving while I'm forced away from the game by rl. Good job guys!

First off I'd like to thank E-Uni for my time there, was a blast and I learned alot of useful stuff especially from Romble and his fun classes. I hope you guys have continuing success
Secondly, S.A.S... you guys were fighting for a purpose and did so very effectivly, so I have to give you guys respect... though thankfully I avoided a deathmail from you. However, E-R and the Exotic Dancers/PA have shown nothing but disrespect to the Uni by deccing us in the worst of times under the guise of the war being against the alliance. These guys don't respect what the Uni does for the community at all, and it will probably come back to haunt them at some point.
IPS is up for grabs everyone, and even though it may not be the best of space, I challenge people to go there. Any stiff breeze of an alliance would blow E-R over and net you 2 stations.

Also have you though about moving the HQ away from The Forge MM? Going to a less populated region may let you guys build up a decent economy in a new area for new times and free the vets from having to be so close yet so far from IPS. Just my 2 cents.

First, I am not bitter, angry, etc.. in fact I want to thank MC, SAS, and yes even ER. You guys helped get me off my carebearing butt and got me to try pvp. I found I actually enjoyed playing the mouse to the SAS and MC cats chasing us in BWF. I learned a lot.. and that is what E Uni is all about.
I will miss the alliance folk. I feel bad for those corps that joined us late in an attempt to help stem the tide. You folk are tops. Honestly though, I feel worse for SAS, ER, and all the other "gankers" that are left in IPS. You just lost probally the second largest fleet of "noobs" to engage and have fun with. You will probably never see the action you saw from us while we were in IPS. We were defending and had to stay in one spot. Now you will find out it is much tougher to defend something than it is to destroy it.
May all those corps who helped keep TBB alive find their cargo holds full of crokite and their enemies full of holes. Join channel: "Eve University" or read here |

Good summary Romble. I fought with LIH and later with E-Uni defending IPS since the MC war. I was glad to fight along side everyone in TBB. MC fought a hard fight. Zincol and SAS can write the definition of guerilla warfare. LIH pilots and leaders are the best.
Best of luck to all defenders of IPS. Garunteed, few have fought as hard for as long for their friends. Lots of Respect. |

It's been fun, as a "carebear" losing those first few battleships was hard. Occasional revenge was sweet. Respect to and from certain enemies was even sweeter.
Our goals are simple, and have already been stated by others so I won't reiterate. We have come a LONG way in the past few years and TBB was a key piece of that history.
In joining E-Uni I imagined I'd leave long ago, but somehow i still haven't. Hopefully, we can do as MM described and continue to maintain a sufficient cadre of "vetrans/instructors/graduates" to train the neverending onslaught of n00bs that we gladly embrace.
Peace out.

I wasn't part of that particular contract due to RL issues. Still I feel kind of sad for TBB, but as Parm stated; a contract is a contract. Heard great things about Eve-U, and ofc I know both the four horsemen(former partners i believe, from a prior corp), and NAGA(even though i have never bought from them). So I hope Eve-u will return to what they know best; letting new players have a home with great tutors(I wish I had known about you when i started, so I wouldn't have to do everything the hard way alone). For all its worth, Good luck in the future, I hope you prevail. _______________________________________

I got to agree whit Seleene here. MC did a lot of damage to TBB. But when MC left they where still in a state where they could have risen again. We didn't let em do that though. And this is the consequense. There is methode to our madness. Also there is a diffrence between making them hurt badly and making them focus their effort somewhere else. There are a destinkt few who can do that. And usually it takes alliances to do it. We did it whit 30ppl. If you can't respect that or realise why we did it the way we did. Sod off and go play some other game. Cry me a river.
To TBB I want to say this. Conserning your open space polisie and assist to noobs to get into 0.0. Forget about it. That idea died whit NVA, and if that didn't kill it GNW did. Don't listen to closely to what Jade have to offer you or you'll just end in the gutter. EVE is and will always be driven by conflict. But by all means. Continue your line. We love you as targets.
Cheers and good fight, we'll see you around.

Oh please, while i respect SAS for their pvp tactics and ganking methods(no doubt your a cohesive close group) etc You hit a weak target that was beaten down. We had just lost our pvp force in LIH. LIH was 150ish pilots with the ships, skills and backbone of the pvp fleet. Euni was never setup to be a fighting force in that manner and could not fly ships to be that pvp force.
Congrats, you came in after tbb was already *****ing, ganked when it was best opportunity to do so. You killed a lot of travellers, solo ratters and miners. When forces came to look for you guys, well it was time to cloak and safespot. Hooray for you.
If LIH doesn't leave TBB it probably is an entirely different story. We shall never know.

The Reason for that fleet and others like it was so that we could remove our members assets from BB space. The Uni was wanting to leave IPS and TBB for about 2 weeks now, but due to the fact that E-R would not honor a cease fire, let us takedown our POSs and collect our gear, forced us to stay and continue the POS war.
As we have now lost and taken down most of our POSs and moved most of our gear out, it is nolonger needed for us to stay and yes, after so many war decs and constant fighting in IPS the Uni does not need another war just now. We want to take it easy for a bit and try to remember what was fun about this game.

That is a damm lie.. I cant stop laughing at this thread..biggest pile of crap I have ever seen..
The fact is a EVE-U director contacted my right after we took 8mg. we told them the deal and the EVE-U director told me he just gonna take our offer to the rest of the leadership.. But instead of comming back to us, EVE-U reinforced there POS with alot of hardeners.. That meant we had to spend a hole boring weekend killing POS with more hardeners thne pat got WCS..
You guys broke the deal and now you can deal with you own action..
and yes you can get all the little bandwagon alliance against us but that just makes us more happy.. So GL to Ratel, ESA, guardian coaliton, blackflag, Smash, Roadkill and whomever you you gonna help you.. But i can promise you one thing becuase you broke the deal and hide behind game machenics and made us completly bored with POS warfare you own action prop gonna be you guys worst nightmare..
And btw going on the forums and crying/lying about we broke the deal doesnt make us very happy.. So expect some sort of responds from us soon..

I can respect MC for doing their job and fulfilling their contract. And I understand why BOB hired them.
However, despite my admiration for their tactics, I have no respect for SAS or their friends. They simply prey on the weak. Can't even call them pirates, since there wasn't any decent loot.
I have even less respect for E-R. Breaking a ceasefire. Not even having the brains to let us leave IPS when we tried. And now they're just lying about it.
Ok, you guys got the best of a school filled with new pilots. Don't let it go to your heads. It took you months to do it. When one of the big alliances drops on you, you won't last a week. And you won't be able to cheat or lie your way out of it then.
