About a year ago talks started between the famous NAGA and ourselves about starting an alliance. First it was just going to be an empire alliance but soon we decided to try to claim a small part of 0.0 space to open it up to the community of EVE.
EVE University joined in because we felt that access to 0.0 would offer new players learning experiences that we cannot offer in empire. Also it would give experienced teachers an incentive to stay with the university. There have been good times and there have been bad times. We learned a lot about life in 0.0 and we were perhaps not prepared for some of the major assaults we had to endure on this rather poor piece of space.
After MC completed its contract, TBB hit a low and we have been unable to recover. Many corps left TBB at this stage and soon after, but the University stayed. More and more energy and resources from EVE University players were sunk into this project to the point where it was no longer enhancing our mission or helping our members. NAGA and ourselves have worked very hard since the start of this project to make this work but we have increasingly grown tired of it and find that we are not able to keep the ôIPSö mission alive on our own. I would like to thank all our friends as well as every current and former member of TBB for all there help trying to pull this off. We have made mistakes but we have learned a lot from them.
EVE University will now leave TBB and refocus on its main mission, to welcome new players to the EVE Universe and help them learn as much as possible. I hope we will be able to regain 0.0 access by some other means soon.
Most current standings that the University has with many other corps and alliances, will be reset over the next few days, we ask anyone thatÆs wanting a new standing with the University to please contact us.
Thank you

I would like to thank every Euni pilot and pvper we have now and passed. We have been fighting one war or another since April non stop essentially. I am very proud of each pilot with low skill points taking on many of the best pilots in eve and with some nice successes. Our little in house zergfleet became very popular and many who have started with no pvp knowledge have become quite proficient in it. The spirit inside the uni is always refreshing, active and most important fun.
This decision will allow us to refocus and strengthen our mission. Helping new players.
Regards, Romble director

I would just like to add a personal "thankyou" to all the Uni members that helped fight for us and the big blue, even thoe most of the time we where totaly outmatched in ships/skillpoints/Experince, we gave them hell...and for that you should be proud :)
See you in class o/

These are good people. I honestly can say I enjoyed my time hanging out with the folks and helping people within the alliance proper.
I hope it goes well. --------- >>Disclaimer: Anything Nukeitall says is not to be taken seriously. Mostly. |

Such a great pity for such a noble corp and alliance to be brought so low by the merciless and unjustified actions of MC and their employers (my opinion, not my corp's or alliance's, yadda yadda). I sincerly hope you find a suitable home soon.
Godspeed EU, may you be continally blessed for the great service you provide the EVE community.

While certain rogue elements were less than admirable in the execution of their duties, The Uni as a whole is a fantastic corp, and I still refer all n00bs I meet to them. I had the time of my llife there and owe my current state to them. The TBB and it's crokite was nice for a while, but all good things must come to an end, after all. Special thanks go to Kodell, Trynn, Cadela (yes you, you big softie), Gwarnina, DaBagBoy, and all you others who know who you are, for making my time there unforgettable!

Best of luck EVE-U, you have some excellent players both in yoiur teaching cadre and also in your ranks of fine students. Originally by: Creed Richards brought so low by the merciless and unjustified actions of MC and their employers
Just have to note here, that we were in contact with the leadership of EVE-U and we gave them ways of ensuring that players who were new and being taught were not involved any more than they wanted to be. We had relatively strict operational and locational perameters in this contract.

It's sad to see a noble initiative (opening up 0.0 for all players) go the way it did.
You have shown a lot of motivation, and dedication while being a member of the Big Blue. Good luck with your mission in the future.

Good luck in the future EVE-U.
I wish (knowing what I do now) that the reason you are leaving TBB would be diffrent
Though I am sure you will come back even stronger from this and become the biggest production/industrial corp in EVE. -----------------------------------------------
