Everything I have read that is coming in Kali and that CCP has talked about wanting to do in the future is 100% what I want. Can CCP do no wrong? Now lets look at the World PvP being put in WoW in patch 1.12, can you say dust farming? That's right folks, PvP in WoW involves farming dirt.

To put some perspective on it, even if 99% of the players are doing the same things, it doesn't make them right. You didn't make the game, and while community opinions get listened to and respected, nobody within the community has a right to make any final decisions. Sorry if this comes as a shock to anyone. Regarding the whole 0.0 thing, a lot of people in EVE are simply interested in the quickest, simplest form of character advancement. And while you make more isk in 0.0, the hassle of doing so goes up exponentially. It used to be that the profit difference was so large you were tempted into trying 0.0 even with so much hassle and risk. Thats what you need for longevity in the end.. for people to try 0.0 and see theres more to EVE than basic character/wallet advancement. I'm part of the "nerf empire, make 0.0 harder" crowd for various reasons. Inflation is a big one, and I don't think boosting 0.0 rewards is going to do anything but devalue ISK even further. Making 0.0 even easier would not only be hard, but detrimental to all the people who thrive on challenge. So yeah.. if Kali has any form of high sec agent nerf, it will be pretty good for the game. Bad for some people, but good for the game. Purchasing Complex Fullerene Shards, contact me ingame.

While he's very good at 0.0. I think he's the biggest impediment to empire players and playstyles. And one day when 0.0 has the infrastructure, markets, sovereignty, and gate control that they desire; then does it not become empire in miniature? Should hi end minerals erode away and hi end npc's vacate to other regions? Seems to me empire is empire whether its the npc originals or newly formed alliance empires.

The whole idea of colinizing planets is going to open up yet more avenues for play style and there is so much more to come. Seems like the basic stuff is almost in the game after all these years past release, soon the content will be here. People dissapoint me. End my dissapointment.

I'm glad they're looking into ways to bring the 2 worlds of Empire and 0.0 somewhat closer together so more people can enjoy that kind of gameplay. I've been in Empire now for 2 months and it's getting kinda stale. :) Developing low security Empire space so people can create content themselves is kind of hard since you need to deal with the artificial gameworld and rules imposed on Empire space. Why do you think lowsec is plagued by sniping gate pirates?
Galk Gallente Autumn Tactics	Posted - 2006.08.12 00:20:00 - [25] Well to answerd dc's point about me, then yeah there's not much else.. im bitter as hell ffs and people that know why, they know why... i do my very best to ignore the lot and sit in a 1 man corp... there's me and yeah nobody else:/ I cut between the lines and don't see much else after whats gone on. Back to the game..... It's 0.0 empire as per normal, iv'e done both back and forth ill comment. Reguardless of however, if ouver, ccp whoever has a vision, you cut to the chase and add in your users, im betting it's probaly around 50/50 who gives a toss and who doesn't... there's just a game, you drop the diversity of everybody of each and every player.... it's 50/50 if that.... I know the guys that sit still and work for what they want to take from the game... however how placid that is, which is ofcourse no different to those that aspire to kill billions to achive their goals. Big picture: Sure i went for it, dc has blown me up, never forget the time i was talking to a mate and thought we had a convo going, but was realy local.... dc said thanks ill do that as we were talking about the state of the defences we had going. Ahh long time ago, ill allways remember the good times, ill never live them again, i just don't see it anymore, the spirts not just there for me now.
