Hmm ... The flight back to Frankfurt starts at 07:35 local time.
That would mean we had to get up at around 04:30 on a sunday morning, gulp down some coffee, and leave the hotel at around 05:00

same crap as last year - I wasn¦t even able to spell coffee when I left for the airport
I have been at the FanFest04 and spent the saturday afternoon and night in bed with a nasty cold. Then the wakeup call came half an hour late so it was 'Jump into clothes. Grab bag. Run for bus.' for me. If Lufio didn't poke me in the bus I'd certainly taken the bus back to the Nordica and missed the plane.
Please fix the broken forum!

You probably will see snow on the heights north of Reykjavik, meybe even in the streets.
But when you book your room at the Nordica, you don't have to leave the hotel unless you have to go back to the airport.
Warm and water resistant clothes are a must in Iceland all year long - The weather can change quickly. Multiple layers of clothes are a pretty good solution.
