Im interested in learning more about EvE... I see a lot of people in the pvp forums saying to go very low on charisma... and it begs the question what is Charisma for?
Is it for a non pvp character? So far, I like running missions and dealing with the market, filling peoples orders...
What kind of character would you make to do missions and fill orders? Would you want charisma? What kind of ship would you want that could haul huge amounts back and forth, but survive some gate pirates and still get away?

Well its not too late for me to remake my character. I chose a Caldari because I liked the looks and background story, but my Charisma is only 3 but the other things seem okay.
The other characters I like the look of are the:
Vherokior, though their Charisma is 8 their perception and willpower are 4 and 3.
Amarr Khanid, and they are Int5 Chr5 Per8 Mem4 Wil8.
Anwyl: If it gets really boring running the cargo runs, and Im not a real fan of crafting.. what else is there? Logistics? Thats the ships that sort of transfer energy and such? I liked the look of those when I was browsing around ship types, Im much more into defensive and assistance than offense, but people said those ships just get focus fired - and they look pretty expensive to just be getting jampiled so you die first.

Okay... I did do the learning skill thing though. So far I have Instant Recall, Learning, and Analytical Mind all to 3, and in a few hours Ill have Learning 4.
Trying to plan for the long run, the problem is planning for what you dont understand. I just know I dont have all the time in the world (brand new baby + job) so I cant really afford to grind pve so I can pvp... on top of that Im really into defensive roles in pvp to boot.

I like the Intaki as well... I didn't notice it last time I checked them because I was more concerned about the helmet headgear stuff, but they have the pretty lipstick and face-item choices.
