I can't help but feel that other major contributors to each faction, say the next top 5 or top 10, should receive some lesser recognition for their efforts. Perhaps a PLEX, one of the new factional Field Marshall jackets, or even both.
Will be interesting to see the results. I am rooting for a come-from-behind win for Gallente, but even if not I am curious to see the top rankings in each faction. There was one Calvary bloke who exclaimed "my poor wallet" earlier in this thread ... trust me, I feel your pain.
But sacrifice is worth it if you believe in something ... or like a little competition.
[Edit: Oh yeah, he's right above me, LOL] |

I think that we will have to wait until Monday, when the Devs are around to accept and tally the contracts assigned to the 4 faction representatives. I doubt that they will be working on this over the weekend. My recent contracts to Auvier Bauvon have not yet been accepted, for example. Yesterday's estimate had an error that has since been corrected.
Importantly, all numbers provided before the donations close are estimates. We will publish final and 100% accurate numbers on the morning of Wednesday October 15th. Will we get another update? Or is that it until it is over on Tuesday?
I don't think that there is a holiday on Monday in Iceland, so we should assume that there will be some update on that day, prior to the finish. There's been an impressive amount of movement in the numbers. Kudos to all donors!
Also, a big thank you to CCP Fozzie for running the database query on a weekend to give us an update. The problem with slavery is that only half of the manacles are visible. Or maybe the new tech will be a new wormhole scanning module...
There don't seem to be any clues in the reports from SOE. They alluded to changed behaviour, but not how the behaviour of sleeper drones has changed. So it's a big open question as to what, precisely, this new tech will be.
Or has there been a noticeable change to capsuleers in wormholes as well?

A well trained capsuleer pilot never has to actually wait.
But yeah, I hope that other contributors to the Gallente cause step forward... but hopefully not too much!

Sigh... now my 81k points for Gillette seems to have been overwhelmed by the last-minute flood. Assuming that it was from a few individuals rather than a tidal wave of smaller donors.
I'm still curious to see the rankings though, as well as the bigger question of what tech this is leading to. The problem with slavery is that only half of the manacles are visible. Count me in the other category. Much poorer ISK-wise after my donations.

Well, I didn't win the Gallente commission, but I'm happy that my contribution was almost 20% of the Gallente total.
Congratulations to all that won a commission... your commitment is breathtaking!
