Oh my, Celestial Apocalypse is 3 years old today.
ItÆs been an amazing ride. Our corp like many has had its fair share of ups and downs, but we have gotten through them. We like to think the reason for our success has been that we listen. We are a corp of equals, with everyone having a say in what we do and where we go. ItÆs also been through having loyal old school members who stick by us no matter what happens. And also possibly because IÆm just so darn sexy.
But mostly itÆs been to our enemies, if it werenÆt for you guys we would have nobody to shoot, so for being there we thank you.
My good mate ôShadowthroneö started Celestial Apocalypse 3 years ago. My history isnÆt always very good, but the first HQ of our corp was in Brin, a lower sec area where the few members we had could make some isk. The corp stayed small with only a few members in its ranks.
Shadow was thirsty for blood and liked to think the future lay in pirate hunting, this was to lead to him meeting me. I was a regular forum visitor and was known for fighting pirates whenever I could. My profile was pretty high and would lead to our first meeting in Jan.
I received a mail from Shadow looking to join in against these pirates . I immediately accepted him into our group as he had a battleship, OMGà battleships were a rare thing as u all well know (which he mined for btw, all laugh and point at shadow). But it became clear straight away that we had the same aim in EVE and would make a perfect partnership and are still good friends even to this day.
It didnÆt take long for me to join Celes and for the corp to move against these pirates in a more organized way. I used my forum powers as a recruitment tool and quickly started to recruit as many like-minded PVPÆers as possibleà The corp exploded, in no time we had a healthy looking corp.
We have fought in every corner of EVE and giving you the full history would take me many days, and I imagine bore u all to death. IÆd say the curse alliance wars made us. They taught us how to fight and fight well. Indeed, they were a worthy opponent that would help to shape our corp into what it is today.
Today Celes is even stronger than ever, we passed the 100-member mark a little while ago and each day more quality PVPÆers join us. We are no longer the anti-pirate corp that was born all those years ago, but I like to think we are something even better. We even have our own area of space, which the guys can mine in. JK.
We have a great leadership that is always working hard to keep this corp ahead of the game, welsh our new director, has taken over many of the corps jobs and done great. Shariona; the corp joker, plim; the old boy of celes, Fedaykin; for killing more ppl than our entire corp, rennox tiwaz for being well, just being uber. Cuisinart; for running our amazing forums, Raal; for the killboardà all top blokes. New guys for bringing an extra spark to celes; kaleeb, dabster, beggs, fuglife, mahkla, gib, koval, mcmelch, Mechcore, pehova and so many more, my apologies for leaving u out, i have to stop somewhere :). boogie for demanding a mention and throwing a strop, haha.
Gyrn/max/slick/ for staying loyal even though we have like hardly any yanks. We love u all. baun for being our one man forum warrior army :). Iceinferno, Xan and vger for being women:)... vger i miss u :(
Big thanks to all the pirate corps/pirates that kept us on our toes, from jan/mara/atlar/passari/obe/p3en. M3g4, m0o, paladins, tundragons, zincol, xpohoc, lifewire, man so many to mention. Jokers, spang, exotic dancersà I could go on and on.
To the present day and BOB. All good corps need a mortal enemy and u are ours, which makes this game much more interesting. The hates all in character and without u there EVE would be a much duller place. u are a mean bunch and good fun to fight.

Old friends, DB Preacher, Blacklight, Raven Deblade , CoC. Wildcard. NVA, phoenix alliance, fountain alliance, (sheeshhh, so many.)
cont. New friends; Outbreak, top guys. amazing how fighting eachother brought us close together to what we have today. respect.
Anyways IÆm rambling on. IÆm proud to be a member of this fine corp and here is to another 3 years.
Finally; Thanks CCP, you have made the most amazing game that we have ever seen. Keeping us entertained for 3 years has our muchos respect. Good job lads ill buy u a pint at an eve meet :).

Very nice history indeed Darth i remember when i was a noob a clest used to have lots of wars in empire i think it was aginst Huff , used to watch those fights in my first carcal wide eyed

 Cheers dudes, i remember up in the old PA days when info came out that CELES is coming to help, those where great news for those that where hopeless of the future of the PA. Good days, nice stories, the game changed alot its not like it was.

WOOOOOOOT hapy b-day us!!! Although i`m new to the corp im loving it atm, its all about teamwork and fun in celes, and taking the p*ss out of welsh for not knowing how to fire guns .
Lets hope there are another 3 great yrs ahead
