Equipment Warehouse	Posted - 2006.08.13 21:49:00 - [1] Well, finally managed to sort all them cards into my new collectors binder, and I've done a quick 'head-count'. From the Day of Darkness nad Great War megapacks, I've gotten 209 of the 240 possible cards - so I'm missing 31. I'm lumping foils together with the regular cards here. Looking at the foils, I got just 24 out of 240: disappointing when you consider I got one in each of the diplay boxes, so thats really 22 out of 48 booster packs, so slightly below 50%. It's all the luck of the draw, I guess. How'd you all make out? E.W.
Testy Mctest	Posted - 2006.08.13 22:24:00 - [2] I got two boxes. I actually didnt check how close to a set I am, probably fairly close I'd guess. But, all of the rares I got were decent and ones that I will use. I'll want 4 of all the good ones anyway, so there's a ways to go yet. You never know when bad cards will become good ones, though; you never know when they'll be turned usable by cards in expansion sets. I did get a lot of battlecruisers (4 of each except Cyclone, of which I got 3). I got at least one of all of the rare news cards. I got very few battleships, but that's OK, because I really don't think most of them are very good. Ariemeth	Posted - 2006.08.14 10:07:00 - [3] Lumping my 26 foils with the rest of my cards I ended up with 219 out of 240 cards. I was rather happy to get exactly 50% foils out of my 2 boxes. I am looking forward to my next two boxes as I figure that will give me a very good selection of rares and uncommons to use is various deck ideas as well as give me enough cards to keep a friend playing as well until he can get his own. Catamarack Minmatar The Lost Souls Curse Coalition	Posted - 2006.08.16 03:13:00 - [5] well...after GenCon I'm up to 8 boxes....I bought 5 myself....built 4 decks and 2 of those decks made prize rounds....each of those 2 decks made off with a box each....plus the 18 packs won by the other 2 decks.....not to mention the random packs people gave me because single packs were given out in the grab bags......still haven't even opened the 2 prize boxes yet.....out of the 5 boxes opened I still don't have a raven........I have multiples of every other card..... Let's put the Laughter back into Manslaughter....

Ahh, I was wondering how many spoiler players were in that tourney with prior access to the cards. I'd not seen it before GenCon and hadn't realized that it had been pre-sold, I figured i'd only need to worry about playtesters. :) Still, I can't complain, managed to make top 16 even with the lack of sleep caused by trying to learn the game and make a deck until 3am the previous night. I'd have taken you all if the tourney hadn't run so late, I was still coherently thinking until almost 9pm! :P Just here for the CCG. :)
