When do the constant requests for nerfs, be it cloaking, ganking, whatever, stop? When will you finally be able to look at EvE as the cold game it is, and just play without asking for something to be changed because a game that's supposed to be hard is actually hard? Maybe GD might provide answers, or maybe not. Either way, the trolls and tears will be entertaining from this thread, at least until it gets locked. Disclaimer: My opinion does not necessarily reflect that of my corp or alliance. My opinion is my own, and if you don't like, that is your problem.

Because we know the answer (never). Some tings need nerfing or buffing sometimes sure. Some things need to change sometimes. Not everyone who suggests a change (or suggest not changing something) has a bad agenda. BUT it's also true that a LOT of the 'nerf requests' come when someone is handed a defeat (and thus a blow to their ego) and feel like any defeat of their awesome selves must indicate a problem with the game lol. There was one former poster (who will not be named but who damn near all of you will know who it is in about 3 seconds) who ran to the forums EVERY.SINGLE.TIME something didn't go right for him in the game. Like shooting a poco and not being able to kill it with his isboxer gang because of timers (making all timers evil. Or how several times he warped in on someone in a null belt who was just warping off (alerted by local) made local a thing that needed to go. You know, an 'Infinite' amount of things wrong with the game that incidentally only became problems when they stopped HIM from winning Infinitely ...

That was long ago on another official Eve Online forum, where COAD was still a source of information on the affairs of Nullsec (albeit a twisted one) and ISDs did not get to play government, of course; nowadays CCP has apparently gone the way of political correctness Forum-unbanned since 2011.10.20.
