Is this mision worth doing? I've just got the mision and on one hand I'd like to try it but on the other hand I'd prefer not losing my ship doing it,seeing I've just spent almost my entrie bank balance on upgrading it...

Two things 1) Never spend your whole bank balance on upgrading a ship. You need to be able to put the basics in its replacement when this one gets destroyed.
2) Worlds Collide is relatively easy if you know what you're doing. a) Go for the "left-hand" gate. It's the one that doesn't have the blue glowing cloud behind it. Also the rats beyond it aggro you straight away. If you still have trouble identifying left from right then good luck to you. In Caldari space it's the Cartel gate. b) Once through the gate run for the next gate. Shooting as you go if you want but run! c) kill the rats close to the next gate (which leads back to the start) and pick up the target from the Damaged Heron.
That's it.
If you want to get fancy you can try killing rats in the start area or the end area. If you get really good at it you can kill rats in the middle section. If you're feeling suicidal go for the right-hand gate (with the blue cloud). There are generally 5+ rats with missiles with 20km+ range right up close to the warp-in point. |

Yeah I found that out,but instead of 5+ there seemed to be about 20+ guarding both gates. After 5 successive attempts i gave up in disgust,as I was getting the crap blown out of me...

Are we talking level 4 here - if so its my favourite mission. Why? Because the amount of isk you can earn in a few hours is fantastic. Always attack the group (Serps on left, Guristas on right for me) at the left hand gate first. Do not release any drones and kill the frigs coming in at you first. Then shoot the remainder of the group. Then go and kill the guristas - they should cause you no problems. Fly through the left hand gate (serps) and be ready to be attacked straight away from the group nearest to you. Make sure you fit the right hardeners for your enemy. Only target one group at a time and fly away from the other groups making sure you target the cruisers, bs, frigs in that order - you can release the drones on this level as they wont aggro everything. You will be able to kill every group easily after that as long as you have put some distance between you and then do the frigs first. I nomrally then go back and change hardeners to resist the Guristas and then go back through the gates to the 3rd level. The level is pretty easy as long as you target one group at a time. Go to the damaged heron and pick up the marines. You will have to wait about 10 minutes for some more marines to appear. Go back to the start of the mission and then shoot some more ships that have respawned. I would only do the right hand gate (guristas) if you have a xl faction shield booster fitted. But if you do both gates and kill some respawned ships you can earn around 50m isk.
I use my Raven fitted with 4 cruise 2 siege, XL gist b SB, DG shield amp 3 rat specific hardeners and a cap recharger 2. 2 ballistic control, 2 pds 1 dmg control. With this setup i can easiy do both gates. A cheaper setup for the left hand gate only is to use large shield booster and shild amp, leave the rest the same. I use tech 2 hammerheads for my drones. Enjoy!!!

Originally by: Banned Rico Go to the damaged heron and pick up the marines. You will have to wait about 10 minutes for some more marines to appear.
The mission was altered slightly in the static update so you only need to collect 20 ships crew and no longer need to wait for the respawn.
Cheers, Arrs.

This mission is defineately worth doing, you can make very good isks running this one day after day, I currently have 3 of them on the go, just a shame its gonna be moved to low sec only
I always read that drone users have trouble with this one, being a Domi pilot heres how I do it.
Load in 8 T1 heavies and 7 t2 heavies
Warp in and immediately head towards the Serpentis gate
Kill the frigates however you want, not using drones though, I use 2 t2 125's and a webber
Wait until the BC's are under 20km and change direction heading towards the Gurista gate
Launch the t1 heavies and kill all the Serpentis BC's, recall the Drones (note you may lose some here, just keep launching fresh ones as req.
Hopefully you now have aggro from the Gurista's
Launch the T2 drones and kill off all the Gurista BC's
Then turn around again and head back towards a Serpentis NOS target, I use a AB to close in quickly
Meanwhile set your t2 drones onto the Gurista BS's, Kill them all
Finally kill the remaining Serpentis BS
Both 2nd stages and the last stage are easy for a properly tanked Domi and t2 drones, just be mindful of aggro range and be sure your drones only fire on the targets you want them too, I find myself often just spamming engage target just to be sure. For me this is one on the very few enjoyable missions as I can't just sleep through it.
