You're the guy that did the ishtar no? The green one? Very similar background design on Revelation. I like it, a bit busy but nonetheless I like it. To me it seems like the ship is really drowned out by the background. Try doing a VERY slight plastic wrap on a copy of the ship, then make it semi-translucent with the original ship behind. Might brighten up the ship a bit. Perhaps a lil' flare (edge flare) behind the ship wouldn't hurt.
Goodjob though. Hey, and if the Ishtar was yours, its been my desk for a couple months now.

Not bad, but the background is not seperated enought from the ship itself.

As the owner of a 1680x1050 native res LCD I <3 it and I can't wait to see more. Never enough widescreen sized wallpapers around.
