This thread seems to have digressed... I'll try to resusitate it.
I've played Everquest with Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves, Ultima Online with Hollywood stuntman and actor Mike Smith and Everquest II with Curt Schilling of the Boston Red Sox. Don't ever say people don't have enough time to play or do something they enjoy--they will FIND TIME to do it.
Mike Smith was ALWAYS on UO. It's like the guy lived in Britannia.
And Schilling was in EQ2 right after a Sox game ended (and a few hours before one started!). The guy was busy leading raids and story quests as well.
As for a CEO of a major company... we had quite a few business executives in EVE during development. Let me see if I can remember... Jack Ramonos, the CEO of Simon & Schuster; Nancy Ramsey, the president of CBS, Trey Ratcliff, CEO of Individual Networks, a senior VP of Blockbuster Video, VP's at Universal and Vivendi, and the list goes on.

I would NOT be surprised if Arnold had taken an interest in EVE-ONLINE. With the depth and breadth of it's economy and social/political environment... You are aware that he is an avid businessman and holds a Masters in business from an American University?
I pointed out in an another thread on that Asia Carrera regularly played Unreal Tournament. She's a top **** actress, if she can find time away from her busy schedule, I'm sure Arnold could. The main reason (according to her web-site) for not playing Unreal Tournament much anymore is becuase she's alotted much of that time towards study for a Bachelors in Business.
Others here have claimed they played with other big people as well.
Here's the bottom line. They are human. Just becuase they are on TV or their picture is in a book/magazine or newspaper, doesn't mean they cease to be human. If you cut them, they bleed. If you hit them, they get mad. Just like most everybody else. And, why would they NOT take an interest in the same things you do? Fact is, they do.
Oh, for a side...
Robin Williams did a HILARIOUS account of the first time he played Quake online.

Many people assume that just because someone has a strong german/austrian accent, it must be non other than the Governator himself. Seriusly, even icelandic people have an accent that sounds a lot like it, and I really doubt that the real Arnold has time in his schedule for doing fleet command in EVE.
I don't think he's smart enough to be a fleet commander on EVE.
