Stick t2 turrents and void ammo in an AF and you will not be missing torps.

Search the forum for his threads and you will understand that all his PvP knowledge is ... limited, not to use a stronger word. He got "warpscrambled from 125km by Ravens", he got his ass kicked by a an AF while in a Megathron fitted with blasters and he generally whines on every bump he hits. As for going after him, it's been known that you need 6+ scramble points to get him and he alwasy stays warp alligned. As for the EVE's greates pvp-er ... read his threads and you will understand with what kind of individual you are dealing.
PS: kessah, some other newbs whine/open threads too.

This is my main - EVE ppl must be obsessed about alts. If one guy has read the forum before joining the game and he knows more about it than the others ... it must be an alt, EVE ppl are too paranoid. This is my main and if you have had taken the trouble to check it in-game, you would have seen that it did some missions up to level 2, has a huge security standing for it's age - i'm working on lowering that, and what alt has WTS's in his Bio for faction ships ???
As for the message in the post, it was adressed to the starter of the thread - you know ... someone opens a thread and ppl start throwing they proverbial 2 cents in ... not all has to be a troll about someone. Only the last line - the PS, was adressed to you, and it meant that I've seen in this section, ppl truly whinning - searching some pages back for some threads, you can do this too.

Edited by: Ginger Magician on 16/08/2006 13:00:44 Well I'm on the foums again. How surprising
Actualy was thinking today about this somewhat.Personally I dont like killing noobs who are genuine as this guy appears to be but unfortuantely with the game mechanics as they are there is no other choice. If pirates did not kill people who approach the gate at 15km without bookmarks how would they be able to earn a living? Tech 2 ships have become impossible to kill at gates and most experienced players have bookmarks. So the game itself forces u to kill the stupid the new or the naive. And even these noobs drop enough loot to make sniping a very profitable occupation.
Belt piracy is impossible in low sec space. And dont argue about 0.0 plz - its big and 95% of the systems are completely empty.Hagilur has over 100 jumps per hour and is one of the busiest low sec systems in EVE - thats why I camp there.
I feel that maybe the time has come to remove insta local and bookmarks from the game however painful this may be in the short term.OFC some carebears will probably leave the game and others will not ever venture out of safe space but atm new players have such a steep learning curve it must be offputting for their continuation in the gane and its also unfair on them to have to deal with the mess of bookmarks as it is atm.
Any constructive comments welcome. And flame me all u wish but if I wasnt killing them u can be sure that someone else would .

No its not, I belt pirate and make a decent-ish living from it.

These posts show up all the time and I wish people would just deal with being killed. So what if he snipes noob players and such, just like everyone else in this game he pays the $15 a month to do what makes the game fun for him. Keep up the good work, somebody has to teach the new players about the dangers of low sec and no instas.

Wow. I think that's the first post i've heard from you when you didn't sound like a 12 year old whining girl. have the old shoots started sprouting?
only thing i disagree with is that low sec belt piracy isn't possible. i can kinda prove that is really is if u know how.
And tbh Ginger is also very much into killboards and podding grants lots of points regardless of your age so this is also a motive for him to kill everything that moves.

I occasionally pod n00bs in <0.5 space. I consider it almost a service...all part of the learning experience. I frequently have that incredulous moment of "You're 5 days old and you're hunting in 0.2 space??" <0.5 space is dangerous, it says so when you jump in...when I was a carebear n00b I had the common sense to stay out until I was a good 2-3 months old and even then I can't believe now how Naive I was or how many retrospectively stupid chances I took. I was lucky I didn't get podded on a far more frequent basis.
If you *have* to travel through <0.5 space then take the time to set up a couple of insta's in a shuttle, or better yet save up and buy the set of BMs for the region you're in. Even the best pirates won't be able to get you on instas.

One thing you could do now... Start up your own Chat Channel. Name it something creative that matches your current goal... Ginger Magician Community Watch or Ginger Magician Must Die! for example...
Advertise in your NPC corp chat, local chat, these forums, etc about it, encourage people to join. Use the channel to post sightings of him (NOT smack talk about him). I'm certain that there are enough people out there that would love to take a whack at him if they could find him easily...
Be the communication nexus that pulls together all the "I've been podded!" reports and makes it easy for the Ginger Hunters to find him...
