One thing to remember is that just because you pick one race doesn't mean you have to use those ships. I have a minmatar character that flys amarr. You loose out on the initial training in whatever ship class but that's a drop in the bucket compared to your lifetime in eve. Also if you start a character with less then 90k skill points you are doing something wrong. Now to justify my claim that minmatar sebeistor are the best. Attribute Base User Primary Sec. Bonus = Total Intelligence 7 1 5 4 Learning bonus = 18.7 Charisma 6 0 5 4 Learning bonus = 17.6 Perception 5 2 5 4 Learning bonus = 19.8 Memory 6 1 5 4 Learning bonus = 17.6 Willpower 6 1 5 4 Learning bonus = 18.7 You don't have to train charisma of course. These are the most balanced stats that you're gonna get though. You could hope for more perception but the intelligence and memory make up for that. You pay $15 a month to train your skills. The faster you train the more you get for your money. Time not in training is wasting your money. Which is kind of ironic because all the whiners complaining about ISK for cash. Or gave his chosen people a brain... or a host of other things... think he took pity on you, and decided since nothing is actually good about Amarrians... they should atleast feel superior... and presto, there's no problems there anymore.

I've got a few millions in tech-2 missiles, but almost no gunnery, except a bit in projectiles, before I switched to Caldari for lvl.4 missions.
